LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 16: Ramon Sessions #7 and Kobe Bryant #24 of the Los Angeles Lakers consult on the court in the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Staples Center on March 16, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. The Lakers won 97-92. Starring: Life without Derek Fisher begins. The Lakers continued their home dominance with a win over the Timberwolves. The most exciting part of last night's game was Ramon Sessions, and wow he's fast. Although he didn't get the start, he showed his potential. Here are Kobe's impressions:

"Extremely fast, extremely crafty and just in the conversations that I had with him out on the floor about execution and things like that, he seems to have a really high basketball I.Q.," Bryant said. "He can score," Bryant said. "He can obviously get into the paint as you saw tonight and so he's going to be a feature for our team that opponents are going to have to prepare for. They're going to have to talk about it and they're going to have to try to do something to slow him down."

Last night Ramon Sessions finished with 7 pts, 4 reb, and 5 assists in his Lakers debut. Steve Blake and Derek Fisher have each reached a line of at least 7 pts, 4 reb, and 5 assists only once in the last two seasons. That would be once in 119 games for Blake and once in the last 135 games for Fisher.

Also, Pau Gasol is a new co-captain of the Lakers, Derek Fisher will likely be bought out, and Kobe's response to Fisher leaving, trying his best not to be sentimental.

Much more after the jump...
