The Tweets
In postgame locker room, LAL players almost begged for chance to praise @stevenash. His team-building way can make huge diff in team vibe.
Steve Nash: "There's some soreness & some pain but right now it's okay. It's manageable. As long as it's manageable, I'll just keep going."
Nash said he didn't figure on Kobe shooting that many times every night. #challengeaccepted
D'Antoni on late Nash FG: "Doesn’t surprise me. If it wasn’t (open) he would have (passed). Guy's a winner - that’s about all you can say."
The play that MWP hit a wide open corner 3 w/24 sec. left in 4th - D'Antoni drew up w/Kobe on strong side, knew GSW wouldn't help off Kobe.
Lakers are taking tomorrow off. (Exhale.) Back to practice at 11 a.m. on Christmas Eve in advance of Knicks-Lakers, noon Tuesday.
Lakers: Nash quietly proud of self and team. Kobe upbeat, encouraged. Dwight pleased, especially with his own defensive hustle with fouls.
Meaningful celebrations of the sort you simply never see after the Lakers win a regular-season game. ... LA 118, GST 115.
