According to both Marc Stein and Ramona Shelbourne, the Los Angeles Lakers are finally considering adding free agent Delonte West to shore up their point guard deficiency.
After a despicable loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers riding the point guarding mastery of Chris Duhon and Darius Morris, it appears the Los Angeles Lakers are considering adding Delonte West into the fold to serve as a stop gap while Steve Nash takes at least another two weeks to recover, and Steve Blake is out at least another two months. Both Marc Stein and Ramona Shelbourne are reporting that "sources" indicate the Lakers are interested in adding the mercurial back court player to their roster.
Sense I get is that D-West, widely regarded as top available PG, is at the top of Lakers' list ... but word is they'll indeed look around

One issue, of course, is Lakers have full 15-man roster. Among reasons they didn't sign D-Fish before Mavs: L.A. wanted to move one PG first

Source tells ESPNLA.com Lakers hweighing other options at PG. Situation w/ Nash too unclear. Can't keep waiting while they lose.

We'll keep you updated here at Silver Screen & Roll on any progress regarding the addition of Delonte Weste to the Los Angeles Lakers.
