Things are falling apart in Lakerland. Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times is reporting that forward Devin Ebanks was arrested this morning on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Lakers forward Devin Ebanks arrested on suspicion of DUI this morning in Los Angeles, The Times has learned.
Ebanks is off to a poor start this season, averaging just 10 minutes per game through four contests. He is shooting just 23% from the field and has a 6.32 PER. Perhaps he knew that Mike Brown was going to be fired today and he had to drink the sorrows away.
Ebanks is the second Laker from the 2010 draft class to be arrested (Derrick Caracter being the other).
It is not yet clear what kind of punishment Ebanks will face or if he will be available for tonight's game. In fact, with a free agent like Delonte West on the market, this kind of action could lead to the end of his days as a Laker.
