Still recovering from knee replacement surgery, Mike D'Antoni is considered a "game time decision" for the Lakers' Tuesday night bout with the Brooklyn Nets.
The Bernie Bickerstaff era has been golden. Full of memories to cherish and victories that will be written with gilded ink in the chronicles of the Los Angeles Lakers. It's also an era that just doesn't seem to end with news that Mike D'Antoni is a "game time decision", according to Mike Breshnan.
The Lakers have looked fluid and rejuvenated on the offensive side of the ball, and having their new leader on the sidelines should only amplify this trend. Still, Bernie Bickerstaff has done a great job filling in, and just finished kicking his son's a-double-s with the Lakers victory over the Houston Rockets. With a tough stretch coming up for the Lakers having D'Antoni actually coaching during live game-time would be ideal in helping them find their way through a pair of back-to-backs. We'll keep everyone updated on the... injury status... of Mike D'Antoni.
