Nash to miss another week

Stay connected for news and updates

Stephen Dunn

Based on an evaluation completed today by team physician Stephen Lombardo, the Lakers have decided to hold out Steve Nash for another week.

We'll have to wait at least another week to see Steve Nash running Mike D'Antoni's offense again. Lakers reporter Mike Trudell just reported that Nash will miss at least another week because the non-displaced fracture in his leg hasn't healed enough.

Injury update: was examined by Dr. Lombardo tonight, and will be out at least 1 more week (5 games including tomorrow)

The anticipation is killing me, but I want Steve to be 110% healed by the time he gets back on the floor. Trudell says that he will be re-evaluated again next week to check the progress of his recovery.
