Not trying to hate homie
there is just something about his face in the picture that at first made me laugh. Then was followed with outrage!

Yeah, he is being shoved by somebody named gay
that’s kinda what I was thinking as well. I just hope he didn’t make a feminine noise when he got pushed.

Yeah, not where I was going at with my comment. Watch it.

My goodness here we go
I was certainly joking. I wasn’t saying anything bad, not even thinking anything bad. Why do I always get the “watch it” remarks? Hold up hold up, I was joking again, please don’t tell me to watch it!
Just calling it like I see it and he looks pretty feminine in the picture.
by datboyeddiep on Jan 9, 2012 12:59 PM PST up reply actions
And I knew that was not where you were going
that was part of my joke you know? Taking Rudy Gay’s name and……
You know what, if I have to explain it, nevermind. I whiffed on that one.
Dude, I got your joke, which is why I told you to watch it.
We don’t make jokes like that, and you’re not the first (or only) to be warned, about this joke in particular.

I would understand
but I was not in any way making a joke about gay people at all. I would never do such a thing, I am not that kind of dude! You are making it look that way on your own. I was talking about Matt Barnes face and posture looking feminine. You said he was pushed by Rudy Gay and I ran with it, what can I do?
Next time, don't run in that direction.

Ok
So I’m guessing Gay is a bad word to you. Once again only you are making it seem like I said something bad. It is actually upsetting to me that you are making me seem that way. In NO WAY did I say anything wrong, I didn’t say anything against Gays, nor did I intend to come anywhere close to offend anyone! That is your doing, you are trying your best to make it seem like I was. This is the second time you have taken one of my comments way too far off the edge. Either you have a hard time understanding me, or we speak two different English languages. I see you warn people for some of the dumbest things, some petty things.
I have been reading through this site and it seems, with you only, that there is some super secret friend circle that if you are not a part of it, you cannot comment on things. You need to grow up! I know I know, I’ve been warned!
TOs!!!
I’m going to send the whole Lakers team apple turnovers before the next game. Eat, digest, eliminate and get those turnovers out of your system already! Nasty image…I know…but hey, maybe it’ll work.
I seriously dont know how we won that game last night.
That many TO’s.
The Grizz must be REALLY hurting without Randolph.
"What we want to remember—what we will remember—is the indelible vision of Kobe, his arms outstretched, delirious with joy and disbelief, running after and grabbing hold of Lamar Odom’s floating downcourt pass, while all the purple and gold streamers in the world are raining down on the hardwood." - Brian Tung
Actually, this isn't true. I think only half of those TOs were forced.
the Grizzlies forced 27 Lakers turnovers and scored 31 fastbreak points.

LOL, right?
Both Bynum and Barnes having it just taken from their hands, which Bynum had just done on the defensive end. Too much.

So according to @RobMahoney, the Lakers limited Memphis to 0.61 PPP in the halfcourt...
…and 1.61 PPP in transition opportunities. lmao.

nice halfcourt defense,
but holy shit. no transition defense. and the TO’s certainly didnt help.

the transition isn't stat isn't all shocking.
More often than not the transition involves the defense not getting back. The number is hilarious though.

I mean
transition off of missed shots is defense not getting back. That many turnovers though and you’ll never have good transition defense on the night

Half of it probably is to help with fellow SDSU teammate Kawhi Leonard’s comfort level, but interesting that they thought he was worth a flier.

Interesting that alot of teams are playing young guys except the Lakers
Heres to thinking things would change with Phil being gone.

there wasnt any room on the roster for him.
i would have taken all the guys we did over thomas.

To be fair, there was no room for him.
And we never got an opportunity to see him play because of the truncated preseason and no summer league. Otherwise, I would have made a stronger case for him or Elijah Millsap to get a roster spot.
