I have been watching Lakers Basketball since around 1981, and I have seen ups and downs from the team. By downs I mean not doing so well in the playoffs, since we almost always make them pesky playoffs. I have seen a few superstars come and go....but the length of time we have had our CURRENT superstar and the ups and downs he has had (and by downs i mean that he looks more like at the bottom of the top ten in the NBA then #1)

Kobe Bryant is a sensational player who is sorta in his own realm right now. Not a PG like Magic or a Center like Kareem....he is a shooting gaurd.....and a FOOKin great one if i might add! Is he like the great MJ?? Well yes and no, But either way he is a special type of player. He is in the twilight of his career and it is kinda like nothing we have ever seen really..... is he kind of slow and turns the ball over sometimes cause he cant do what KB8 did sometimes? Well yes. But tha Mamba will strike leathly with a 15 ft in your mutha FOOKin face fade away that is pure sweetness.
I cant say I know everything about BBall like some of you others, but I can factually say that the "old" Kobe is kickin some ass.....can his GD team should follow him and light a fire under their ass....can they stop swallowing their balls in the second half of games?
I say bring the Mamba on.....
