No doubt, Bryant’s middle finger remains one of the few undamaged parts of his right hand, and the guy knows how to use it.

LOL
Pretty much his response to people who bashed him after the Denver game.
"You have to figure out a way to get it done. There's no time to make excuses. If I play bad or have one bad game like I did in Denver, everybody cries for a change, or cries for the fact I'm too old ... I make adjustments and go from there."

wait, was the triangle holding kobe down?
sure looks like it. lol
obviously, brown isnt gonna get in kobe’s face for shooting too much like phil used to do. and we are seeing the results. i think he’s hogging the ball when he should pass, but winning makes it better. it’s good to see he can still kick ass.
i hope he keeps it up and wins his 2nd mvp. the guy deserves it.
"They’re a very special group of men. Cherish them, you will not see their like again."
He's passing the ball just fine.
Not forcing too much shots and most are within the offense.

Kobe did score 35 and 31 a game in the triangle
the only difference is the lack of other scoring options right now and for the particular game, for defensive and injury and personal reasons. So, it’s all about personnel rather than system.

Daaaaaaaam! Kobe on hating the Suns
Those 48 points Kobe scored during the Lakers’ 99-83 victory were his most since he scored since March 22, 2011 — against the Phoenix Suns. *And as Dave McMenamin pointed out, the last time Kobe scored more than 48 was when he put up 49 on March 1, 2009 — against the Phoenix Suns. This can’t be a coincidence. Kobe is too cold and calculating for this to be coincidence.
"I don’t like them," Bryant said of the Suns. "Plain and simple, I do not like them. They used to whip us pretty good and used to let us know about it, and I. Will. Not. Forget. That."
Even though most of the guys from that team are gone?
"I. Don’t. Care," Bryant said. "I won’t let it go."
I apologize if you get mad by what I say, let me know when you take the stick out of your ass so I can continue commenting.

What Would Kobe Do?
I was with my pregnant co-worker when we both reached out to grab the last Costco blueberry muffin. I then asked “What Would Kobe Do”. I boxed her out, grabbed the blueberry muffin, ate the muffin in front of her, stared her right in the eyes while jutting out my lower jaw and walked away.
Actually, I simply let her get the blueberry muffin and left starving for the rest of the morning. We can’t all be as awesomely cold-blooded as Kobe.

Kobe: Yo Swag, you think can score 6 tonight?
Luke: I don’t know, that’s like 6 times my season average… and that basket looks high and Channing Frye intimidates me. What if I just throw backwards through-the-legs bounce passes to a cutting Lamar… oh man, I forgot the dude is gone. Okay I will try for 6 points, but if someone calls a Tech can I shoot the free throw?

I might have to use this for the CAC
"What we want to remember—what we will remember—is the indelible vision of Kobe, his arms outstretched, delirious with joy and disbelief, running after and grabbing hold of Lamar Odom’s floating downcourt pass, while all the purple and gold streamers in the world are raining down on the hardwood." - Brian Tung
Jordan is a liar....apparently he was never cut from high school.
In the 90’s the internet wasn’t what it is today. We only relied on ESPN primarily to get our sports news. And we all know that MJ was protected by the sports media. That is well documented. Well here is another bombshell.
It’s the “story” of legend, even if the story was always a fictional tale. Michael Jordan, regarded for over a decade to be the best basketball player ever, was supposedly “cut” from his high school basketball team during his sophomore year. Jordan has brought it up endlessly, writers like Bob Greene and David Halberstam trumpeted the tale, and the idea that the Best Player Ever could not be included amongst the 10-best players in tiny Laney High School in Wilmington, N.C., back in 1979 tends to boggle the mind.
It should boggle the mind, because it isn’t true. Not just that he wasn’t amongst the 10 best, Jordan clearly was, but because MJ was never really "cut.
I don't consider myself a hoarder just a person who loves to save things
Did you read the article?

Adam Morrison, who had his sights set on a return to the NBA, has signed a one-year deal with Turkish team Besiktas, SI.com’s Sam Amick reports.
I'll do whatever it takes to win games, whether it's sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot.- Kobe Bryant
A.J. Burnett's only fan!
Why? He saw the Carl's Jr. commercial featuring Miss Turkey
And decided to wed her before returning triumphantly to the NBA. Next year. Also, he wants to play the full 82 game schedule, and reign as MVP. This truncated schedule stuff is ridiculous. And finally, as a base of operations against evil doers, Turkey is the perfect staging point for Ammo’s other career: Worldly Man of Mystery and Espionage.

I’m convinced the 48 points Kobe dropped Tuesday night were directed at one person in particular: Steve Nash.
Bryant made six of his seven shots in the fourth quarter. (LeBron James, meanwhile, didn’t take a shot in the fourth quarter and was one for three in overtime of the Heat’s loss at Golden State, if you feel like having that discussion.)

Welp, J.A., seems like you're the only interested in having that discussion.
And why would Kobe’s 48 points be directed at Steve Nash in particular and not the team? Did they have a beef or something? Fact is Kobe just wants to win and this time he was going up against the Suns, who he hates.
