That Isaiah thing isn't kosher
With how strict the league has been with NBA team personnel getting fined just for mentioning names of players, Isaiah working out potential players for the Knicks is so un-kosher.
I know that Isaiah isn’t on the payroll now, but he is on the Knicks payroll off and on, a large part of the Knicks’ front office even when he isn’t taking pay (Isaiah was sent last summer to recruit LeBron & friends), and he will potentially get a position again in the Knicks organization in the near future.
It is like the Lakers saying, Hey Kupchak, we’ll “fire you” now, so you can go recruit a bunch of players during the lock-out with verbal promises from them for contracts, then we’ll rehire you with a bunch of bonuses once the lock-out is over. Or better yet, another NBA team can get a current non-working scout/coach to go recruit and make deals with players during the lock-out, and then hire that scout/coach with huge (back-pay unofficially included) contracts once the lock-out is over.
While the league might not be able to fine the Knicks, perhaps they can ensure he can’t be hired by the Knicks for a few years because of his involvement in the lock-out or some other creative solution to stop it……. but then again, I like seeing Isaiah employed by the Knicks because he’s utter failure is somehow comedic and pleasing to me….
lol sarah palin had a fetish for black dudes....

What the F!
That Jerry West article about Phil was hard to believe. I’m sure that drama like that follows all teams but when it includes two iconic NBA personalities like Phil and West it just stands out more.
"Hate me or love me. Its one or the other; always has been. Hate my game, my swagger. Hate my fadeaway, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran. A champion. Hate that. Hate it with all your heart. And hate that I'm loved for the exact same reasons." - Kobe Jelly Bean Bryant
i was calling bull sh*t on that article also.
He got his name when his parents were in a restaurant. His father was very pleased with a steak he ordered and at the time his mother was pregnant. So his dad asked the waiter what's the name of the steak that he ordered and the waiter, obviously told him. It's called, Kobe.

It's in Jerry's new book. Not bullshit.

Wow! I guess I just don't want to think of Phil actually being that way.
