Police and the FBI are still trying to apprehend the former Laker in connection with a killing in Atlanta on August 19. TMZ obtained a copy of the poster.

According to the FBI, Crittenton "is believed to have traveled to the Los Angeles, California area where he is known to have family and friends. Investigators learned that on August 24th, Crittenton purchased and traveled on a one way airline ticket to Los Angeles."

Update (2:40 p.m.): The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Crittenton will return to Atlanta and surrender to authorities. His lawyer says that he's innocent of all charges.

Update II (9:00 p.m.): He's been arrested at John Wayne Airport.

That's what I'm thinking

Seems like if the FBI is after you on a murder charge, you’re generally not allowed to just climb aboard a regular commercial flight.

That seems to the airport security way...

They’ll cuff your mom at the counter and strip search her in the terminal, but suspected killers rack up frequent flyer miles.

I heard he grew up in a middle class home with both parents..etc. Not someone on the wrong side of the tracks..yet he turned out like this. A wannabe thug. Oh well..you learn with your actions..he’s done.

can we wait until he's convicted

or at least see all of the evidence before this.

I'm sure you're a bright individual but this comment of yours is plain idiotic.

Glad to see he's turning himself in

with the reports of him being at a workout with someone and flying to Cali, this whole thing is just not adding up. The brother isn’t dumb, he’s gotta know that leaving a state does not get you off the hook for anything.

Honestly I would like to here your opinions on Javaris Crittenton...

A woman (mother of 4) is dead now because of this guy. Those children now have to grow up without their mother. And even if he did shoot his intended target, that’s another dead human being. Keep defending this guy. You’re making a fool out of yourself.

When you find a comment of mine where I'm "defending" him, please bring it to my attention.

Additionally, since no one knows what happened, including whether or not Crittenton actually pulled the trigger, convicting a man of a crime before he even gets to trial, is asinine.

Abraham Lincoln said, “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.” Guess where you rank.

Because innocent people flee all the way across the country. That makes sense?

For crying out loud they sent the FBI to track this guy down. Then again I COULD BE WRONG AND JC COULD BE NOT GUILTY. However, the thing I don’t get is how you’re saying his incident with Arenas means nothing. That shows the guy packs heat when he’s in a dispute with someone. His past isn’t in his favor. You’re making him out to be Wally Cleaver.

Well, you'd for sure not be on the jury

they’d get rid of you with one question

It made no sense but thanks for sharing.
