Wasn't that....

The retaliation block for Ray Allen calling Kobe a ballhog or something.

"Chris was simply the best I have ever seen. He would stay in the gym for hours, launching threes from everywhere inside halfcourt, in repetitions that spoke more of obsession than dedication. Chris practiced with fear, with a sort of cold sweated abandon, like he had been let out of hell to play ball one last time." -MATTHEW PIERCE

Great post, really well done video.

Loved the blocks on Allen, Yao, and Williams.

I remember that block on Sabonis, lol so awesome.

Damn...Scottie was mad

LOL

"I’ve never understood this stuff, where a star player sits out and a team goes into the tank. Well, they need him because he makes them better. Well, if he’s making them better, they should be able to survive without him. That’s how you lead your guys. You’ve got to be able to make guys suffice on their own, without you. If you’re there all the time and they take you away, they shouldn’t need a respirator."

I love how Kobe meets them at the top instead of that swatting from behind bullshit

I love how Kobe spikes the ball straight back down. As fundamentally sound as they come.

None of that “GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERRR” nonsense. Bill Russell would be so proud.

This is the way to start a morning! We have a bar, why not a morning pick me up of Lakers clips?

Dex, Scottie’s towel rage brings me endless joy.

Watching this should remind everyone of why so many people hate Kobe. Kobe – Tearing out your teams’ heart since 1997.

LMAO I pretty much say the same thing.

It’s always some variation of telling the opponent to ‘sit down’ LOL

I think Mamba's block on AK 47 (cant spell his name) should be included.

Always Lurking. Always. Yes. But not that often.

I always like being the hunter, I’m going after something. It doesn’t matter that I have one now, that means nothing to me. I have five (NBA titles), next year I’m playing like I don’t have five, you know what I mean? I’m playing for that one. I’m not looking over my shoulder and seeing who is coming behind me, I’m coming to get something else.

Looked at this again. Textbook blocking FTW.

I love #6 ’cuz he blocked the shot and grabbed the ball. #2 with Yao is my favorite, though.

And Ray Allen can go to hell.

Even though he was at the time my favorite player

There was a block Kobe had on T-Mac way back that should have made this list. Maybe not because it was some sort of incredible play, but because of the point he was trying to send, seeing as they were probably the consensus top wings in the league at the time
