Who, pray tell, is Kevin Perkins?
Kevin Perkins was supposed to bring more than just defense and rebounding to Oklahoma City, he was supposed to bring some snarl.

Cool dude
“I was just thankful,” said Johnson, 26, who starred at Murrah and Jackson State. “My grandmother told me earlier today that God is always on time if you’ve got time to wait. I have definitely been patiently waiting and trying to do the right thing and God has blessed me.”

I hope he ends up with a ring and contract in the NBA (possibly with us) next year. :D
Veni Vidi Vici
well we still have to see what he's truly capable of
i understand he played well in his debut (unfortunately i couldn’t see him in action) but it’s the consistency that counts. recall that shannon was torching other teams off the bench in the beginning of the year and we believed him to be a clear cut smoty candidate and since then how many times has he convinced us he’s still got it? so i’m just hoping this young fella brings his game the way he did in the d-lg and then we can consider him a keeper.

I never heard Shannon touted as SMOTY.
