The rest of it is “wait and see”, but either way, you (Matt) are the bigger person (physically), walk away. You’ve got more to lose than your fiancée, up to and including your job. Even Ron Artest walked outside his house and waited for the police to arrive when he was in trouble in SacTown.
Finally, as I said, this is shit we don’t have to deal with and I think most, if not all, fans would like to keep it that way. I know I would.

I'm oddly
fascinated by the Caracter weight loss thing. I mean, I totally understand it and I totally think that what the Lakers did was great motivation. Lose weight or no fully guaranteed contract. That’s great. But, the funny thing is, is that getting to the 275 is one thing, he still needs to maintain that weight for the duration in order to be fully competitive at the NBA level, IMO. It’s not just about losing the weight in a few days or a month or whatever time frame he was given, it’s about permanently changing his eating habits and adopting a healthy relationship with food, you know?
I hope he gets to the 275 by tomorrow and I’ll be eagerly awaiting his weigh in. I know, I’m lame. ; )

As for our "Bad Boys", I'm curious...
Now that we’ve enjoyed a season and off-season of endless highlights from Ron Artest, do you still view him as a bad boy? Misunderstood? Eccentric? or Other?
I get the feeling Mr. Queensbridge has quickly grown on us and that we probably see him in a different light than we did a year ago. I still worry in the back if my mind that once he gets really comfortable here he’ll be more prone to some mishap, but I’d like to think we’ll see just be seeing race car moments from here on out.
