PrintWell, this isn't good. The Sacramento Bee reports that Matt Barnes got tossed in the slammer Wednesday after a "physical confrontation" with a woman he's dating. He's been charged with felony domestic violence and maliciously obstructing use of a telephone line. Now out on bail, Barnes is due to appear in court on Monday.
Blech.
(UPDATE: Barnes told a Sacramento TV station tonight, "I was the victim but still got arrested." According to the police, both Barnes and the woman involved in the confrontation had visible injuries.)

FWIW, the police report named Barnes the aggressor.
A police report said sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call from a residence where Barnes lives with a female with whom he has a dating relationship. The report said the two had been involved in a physical confrontation during which Barnes prevented the female from speaking to 911 operators. The report also said both parties had visible injuries and Barnes was determined to be the primary aggressor.
