Well, Melo really has no choice in the matter
The most he can do is say he won’t sign an extension wherever he’s going, although it seems he’s pretty open to going anywhere but Denver. That said, he probably wouldn’t be thrilled about playing up in Minny.

kings are still a few years away
tyreke’s a sophomore, and cousins is a rookie. they certainly have a bright future, but they’re a work in progress still. plus, melo’s going into his 8th year. but i agree, getting melo would probably put them in the playoffs, and we might get another lakers-kings series.
