on one hand I think Colangelo did a great job with the Redeem Team

but on the other I somewhat dislike him because of the story that Ron Artest told about him calling him because he wanted to be on the Olympic team and the moment Artest told him who he was he just hung up on him without saying a word.

"That means no more coming into camp fat and out of shape, when your team is relying on your leadership on and off the court. It also means no more blaming others for our team's failure, or blaming staff members for not overdramatizing your injuries so that you avoid blame for your lack of conditioning. hedo ripping the raptors like that

was pretty unexpected, at least bosh was nice about the way he went about it. plus it’s not like hedo gave 110% everyday in toronto, he had a horrible year. it is kinda true though, no player wants to stay/play there. they pretty much have an entire euro-league as their team…

as for shaq, anyone heard that he might go overseas to play to more money and a starting gig?!

It was only a matter of time before Shaq-to-Europe rumors began popping up. Shaq has reportedly "tested the market" overseas, and would be willing to go if he could make $10 million a year or more. For a guy who’s pulled down almost $300 million just in salary over his NBA career — not to mention another eight or nine figures in endorsements, investments, and various entertainment royalties (watch out for those Steel and Kazaam DVD re-releases in 3-D) — you’d think Shaq would have no problem taking a smaller salary, but pride is a MF’er…

also, dennis rodman will forever be dennis rodman.

3peat.

Elden Campbell!

Don’t you love the chase? Sometimes it doesn’t work out; those are the stakes. But when it does work out, it’s like having that first cigarette: your head gets all dizzy, your heart pounds, your knees go weak. Remember that?

don't get the whole zing thing

Just because you throw someone a pass, and they score, it doesn't mean you made them a better player.

for not being too happy their bust of a free agent is out partying after missing a game claiming he had the flu. The nerve of them. it’s not like they were paying him $12-14 million or anything.

Wow, I liked the video, Kobe Nemesis 2011

Although I thought it was going to be shoe commercial.

I hadn’t seen the Heat’s intro of the 3 Lamigos until that video. That was… horrible? Heh. Go Kobe and the forces of good!

HOLY SHIT

first time i’ve seen a link to bleacher report.

I added that.

Don’t blame Vikas. I might add Bleacher Report articles from time to time as long as it’s ONLY from their official contributors and they aren’t using “sources” for rumors.

my bad. i didn't mean it like that.

i was just saying it’s the first time i’ve seen it linked here. i was surprised considering all the BR bashing here from just about everyone.

Hah, yeah, I don’t even bother with the BR stuff anymore…although it’s quite entertaining at 1:30 AM winding down from a partay

I was bored messing around on the trade machine. If Grant can’t make it happen he’s the worst GM ever.

Classy move by Big Z as well as Amare to thank their former fanbases.

LeBron’s poor example probably gave them the idea, but it is still a very very nice gesture.

Don't let the name deceive you, I'm not just a Sharks fan but a Lakers, 49ers, Angels, Giants (and to a lesser extent) Capitals, and Titans fan.
