Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

Check out this sweet brawl from a Greece-Serbia FIBA game earlier today. More to the point, check out the typeface on Serbia's jerseys. Is that... is that Comic Sans?

Incidentally, number 12 for Serbia is Nenad Krstic.

I think Krstic's number is 12, not 18.

I was surprise to see Nenad with that lots of fire!

Don’t you love the chase? Sometimes it doesn’t work out; those are the stakes. But when it does work out, it’s like having that first cigarette: your head gets all dizzy, your heart pounds, your knees go weak. Remember that?

Haha. I think their coach was a former lawyer.

look at number 15 in the white jersey

His name is Sofoklis Schortsanitis I believe. He was on the Greece Olympic basketball team and goes by the nickname “baby Shaq.” Pretty big guy, I think he is like 350 pounds or something.

Adam Morrison has more rings than Lebron, Bosh, and Wade combined?

by shaqfor3 on Aug 20, 2010 8:15 AM PDT reply actions

And it's hilarious to see Krstic desperately backpedaling to get away from him

Schortsanitis is huge. Probably could knock him out with one good haymaker.

Ammo is known as a shooter, scorer, defensive specialist, and all around god-like warrior from another planet sent to placate the masses. There was a Sanskrit passage I remember from my doctoral thesis in ancient languages, it’s eerie, but I believe it has some bearing on the Adam Morrison for MVP rumors I’ve heard lately.

मूंछ नायक दो हज़ार ग्यारह में जीत जाएगा. उसे डर. शॉ की स्तुति करो.

Taken from a tablet removed from the mummified bowels of a nursing camel, and believed to have belonged to the prophet and fakir (I’m going to do this in English so you get an idea of the pronunciation) Be’ryo’n Zsh’aw. The translation is as follows: The mustache hero will win in two thousand eleven. Fear him. Praise Shaw. Do not doubt.

that dude was in the draft

back in 2003. picked late second round, but went to play EuroLeague instead. He played Summer League for the Clips a few years ago as well, but didn’t make the team. I remember Slam (or someone) had hyped him up pretty much during the draft as an ‘old school’ center, but I think he was too small at 6’8

then you would know what euro basketball is really about
