Sucks for the Miami season ticket staff..

How they were fired just like that. Hope they got some sorta compensation or excellent references before they were all let go though.

sooo...

does this mean t-mac actually can’t play anymore? all he had to do was do well at the bulls workout and they would’ve signed him. oh well

Brown update
If they renounce Giddens & Barron, about $3.1M. RT @16XNBACHAMPS: How much $ can the Knicks offer Shannon Brown?

http://twitter.com/LarryCoon/status/19994132164

Courtesy of the ever-knowledgeable Larry Coon. In any case, Kupchak must really be lowballing Brown around $2 million/year if Brown is thinking about a Knicks offer around $3 million/year.

$2mill/yr was what he was due to make, anyway.

Great instance of how a player transitions successfully out of the league into their new occupation.

Hey SoCalGal

I told PAGFL about this already

I’ve been practicing a “fast”, if you will, from the internet. I’ve limited my internet time to just an hour every day and stayed off SBNation for almost a week now.

You see, I’m headed for graduate school in less than two weeks, and I know that once it starts, I won’t have much free time at all, and I certainly can’t spend any time on the internet anymore. So I’m just preparing myself for then.

In the meantime, I’m collecting people’s email addresses so that I can stay in contact with them. I want to find a way to send you mine in a private message.

I'm a diehard Cavs fan, proud to say I never owned a LeBron jersey.

by WaveOcean on Jul 31, 2010 10:19 PM PDT up reply actions

Hey Wave, good luck with school. I know you're going to do very well.

Click on the monkey for my email address and feel free to contact me any time.

And try to visit us here once in a while.

by SoCalGal on Jul 31, 2010 10:23 PM PDT up reply actions

Thanks, SoCalGal

You’re a real friend, and you always have been.

I’ve always been too timid to display my email address, but I really should tell myself that it’s not that big a deal.

And I will try to visit once in a while. I’ll definitely show up when you guys play my Cavs. Are you guys going to sign D West? Oh man, that means I’ll have to start rooting for the Lakers, cause I want D West to get redemption! Heck, we should just give Varejao and Williams to either you or the Heat so that I can root for either team freely in your inevitable finals clash.

I'm a diehard Cavs fan, proud to say I never owned a LeBron jersey.
