Is it true?

Devin Ebanks already signed with the Lakers? I am not sure if it is true I just read it on my twitter account via the Lakers Nation.. If it is true, it just shows that Luke will be out the rest of the season. I hope that Derrick Caracter will be signed next and ofcourse Shannon Brown. We need his athleticism. Here is the link: http://twitter.com/LakersNation. It'll be an interesting 2010-2011 season! Thanks for reading! :)

You could've said this in a comment..

But i think the Lakers WILL sign these two, and as for shannon brown, Kupchak said he was “optimistic” so its a pretty large chance he’ll be back. I don’t see ebanks/caracter getting minutes right away though

"I don't mind being the goat. I don't mind being the villain, hated. I've been that my whole career, so it's not like that's anything new. I don't mind people jumping on the bandwagon or jumping off. I just focus on playing the game." -Ron Artest

they should!

I think the Nuggets or Knicks wants to sign Caracter plus there is two Italian teams, one Israeli club and Olympiakos have interest.

Ebanks signing,

Doesn’t signify Luke being out the rest of the season. Lakers signed Ebanks for cheap depth, and he did very well in the summer league, so he’s a player they want to develop.

Just because you throw someone a pass, and they score, it doesn't mean you made them a better player.

yes he is.. hope in the future he will play like KD haha mitch said that it is likely luke will miss the season.. but its true a cheap signing plus with potential

Maybe we have found an undeveloped poor man's KD like you said, which would be awesome.

He just needs to develope more. But i’m just being a homer so no, that’s very unlikely. I do see Ebanks as a great role player though in being a Defensive presence and some scoring when needed.

but isn’t it sweet if he becomes the player like KD? especially when KB retires?

by DJ Jombee on Jul 26, 2010 9:20 PM PDT up reply actions

Sorry to burst your bubble

Ebanks will never amount to anything close to Durant lol. What you previously read was, his shooting mechanics are smooth, like KD’s.

just my opinion

yea he can’t be that kind of player like KD but im just thinking that he can. just do what KB did.. put a lot of time at the gym and determination to be the best..

Hard work definitely helps in everything.

But you need the natural talent level of a super-star to become a super-star.

Namely the athleticism

Talent can take only you so far, as elite athleticism defines superstars in the NBA. Ask Dwight Howard.

the farthest I got was a starting guard in high school.

I still play as much as I can though. It’s fun.

Happy Birthday A-Rod! Now please hit #600 already.

It's hard

Waking up in the morning and running and working out everyday. It’s diffidently easier said than done.
