ZOMG, you guys. There's actual basketball on tonight. At 7:00 p.m. California time, the U.S. Men's National Team will be holding an intrasquad scrimmage, its last before the roster is finalized for the FIBA Worlds next month. Our very own Lamar Odom will run with the white team alongside Derrick Rose, the gentleman pictured above. The game is on ESPN2 and will be played under international rules.

I really appreciate Durantula’s game and his demeanor. Especially the way he did the exact opposite of LBJ’s absurdly awful tv special. Like that he is the face of this team.

I remember how the guys(kobe) from the last team
had to shoot far from the line to feel right about it
they mentioned how much they had to practice
a lot of the int’l teams that did well in 2006 were great with spot up shooting; it just rained threes and our NBA guys couldn’t get used to it

I think they’re going to run into an international team that is much more practiced and stable. They won’t be able to out-talent everyone like the 2k8 squad. Not enough D on the interior

i think our point guards are too strong and fast, and KD will tear it up.. its hard for me to see them losing with KD on their side hes pretty much unguardable imo
