Hey folks, it's been a while since I made a fan post, but I'm on vacation for a couple of days and I thought I'd jump on the Rough Cut wagon (note, it's not a bandwagon) started last week by bluexfalcon (who ett mah cuckie). So, random thoughts about random things, right? Let's talk movies. I love movies, absolutely love movies. Most of my favorites were made before I was born, but there have obviously been some real gems in the last few decades (don't try to guess my age from that statement).

Men and women tend to gravitate towards different types of movies (action vs. romance, juvenile comedy vs. serious indie flick, etc.). Then there are those who just like a good movie, no matter the genre or what it's about. I fall into this category. When I was a kid, I went to the movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (matinees and evening shows). I wasn't allowed to go on school nights (Sundays excepted) so I think I saw just about every movie that came out during that time. And let me tell you there were some stinkers I wasted my hard-begged money on (especially some of the R-rated flicks I was able to get into because I looked older than I was). But there were some really good ones that I still list among my favorites. Since then, life has gotten busier and I don't see as many movies as I'd like, but I still LOVE MOVIES.
