just a thought i want to throw out there:
the USA team that lost a few years back had the big 3 playing, Kobe wasn't even part of it. USA won as soon as Kobe and Jason Kidd stepped in. i don't know if this means anything to the heat trio issue. not saying they can't win at all, point is they played together but didn't bring home the gold medal.
