Rough Cut 6/25
I figure we should have a random thread. For days were everything has already been said in the comments on other posts and stories, and you don't want to re-read everything.
Well, today is June 25th. The first year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. Unless you lived under a rock for 30 years, you probably heard of the guy. I just want to say that his music changed lives all over the world. Truly a Master Performer and really played to the crowd. I was a little young to experience it first hand, but it's funny, his music still resonates among millions today.
RIP MJ
We could talk about him, then trail off to another topic, it all depends on the comments.
Really, I want this thread to serve as a 'random open thread' where we could talk for a few, and go on with the day. For those that can't join Tiny Chat because you're at work and it looks blatantly obvious that you're not doing anything, this can be your savior.
Hopefully this catches on, and others could start another thread "Rough Cut 6/26" or whatever. Just trying to harbor a nice community here on SS&R.
As you were...

Let's see, Burt Reynolds and Lesley Anne-Down or this

But in general, he has a lot of fans there. Not sure what the stat crowd thinks of his pitching these days, but I’m kinda glad he’s turned it around some.

1.02 KDR haha. I’m good when I try, but I just like to mess around a lot. My cousin and I found a really fun way to piss people off. We find a game where at least 3 people have the same clan tag, then we copy their clan tag. After we beat them, we argue about how they are disrespecting the clan and they should change theirs. Then I post my “Overtaken clans” on my bio.

And I managed to finish Crysis at relatively high settings, which was quite frankly amazing considering that this is a Laptop that was almost a year old when Crysis was released – talk of Crysis being impossible to run was widely overblown.

Macs not that bad
with running games. Its more of finding games that actually run on it. Plus, if you really really wanted to just get a spec’d out mac and put windows 7 to run it if you really want to. Not that big of a difference. I have the old regular Macbook without the new graphics cards and run games all the time on my Windows side. It obviously doesn’t look as good because of the graphics card, but its not that bad. Thats another overblown difference between Mac hardware and others.

Not referring to hardware.
Since they started using proper Intel processors and chipsets, the hardware has been fine, it’s just that game compatibility with the Mac OS is still limited, though improving.

I could tell
I was just saying that its an overblown difference for the main reason you stated. People don’t make games for Macs because 90% of the market still runs Windows. I’ve seen more games being made for both and services like OnLive will make it so even more can be played on them. I run an old macbook, so you can imagine how upset I was when I got it for school and then they upgraded it the next year. So pissed off. lol
Unfortunately the legend of MJ has long surpassed the reality of MJ. -Jevon O
That air of superiority is correct.

eh
only if you really enjoy spending thousands on the hardware to get the most out of the software. Buy a PS3 with all of its multimedia capability for $300 or a $2-$3,000 Alienware computer to specifically play games like Crysis and Warcraft with beautiful graphics. Not to mention the exclusivity to consoles and a lot more stuff I could go into. I’m just saying, lame arguments always come up for whats better. Better graphics on PCs, but a lot less games and a lot less fun to be had with other people in your room at the time. Almost exclusively isolated unless playing online with chats and other things of that nature. PC is the only reason why gamers are still viewed as nerds who get an erection at the site of a hard drive. But I digress, PC gaming = console gaming depending on what you want. You want MMORPGs, 1-player mission games, and a lot of time to play by yourself get a PC and play. You want to actually entertain people when they come over get a console. Its really just that simple. Or hell buy both and get the one player games for PC and the other stuff for a console. Just saying, this argument is almost as dumb as Mac vs. Windows.
Unfortunately the legend of MJ has long surpassed the reality of MJ. -Jevon O
I've got both, so eh.
But, then again, you’re a Mac fan.
