Around SBN: The Week In Worst: When Baseball Goes Wrong

Is he the Greatest Laker Ever? Not until he beats Boston in the Finals. Now—armed with an improved shot and fueled by a thirst for revenge—Kobe Bryant has one more chance to take down the hated Celtics

If & when the Lakers win this series

I think that will be a fabulous debate, as of now I still have Magic. A finals win over the Celtics would make it hard to deny Kobe’s place on top (if he’s not there already for many people).

You all occupy a world dominated by Kobe Bryant, consider yourself fortunate.

yeah I still have magic at the top anyway

Kobe was a big contributor on those 3 peat teams but he did it as a 1-2 punch. These days however, he is showing he is capable of leading a team to a title.

Correct me if I'm wrong

but didn’t Magic do what he did mostly with Kareem?

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

yes

but Shaq was the main leader of those teams. Magic was the main leader of all the showtime teams, thats why he is the all time greatest laker.

plus magic only had in think 12 years (!) in the league, garnering 5 championships and 3 MVPs, etc. etc.....kobe's 14 seasons and counting.

i’m not slighting kobe at all. it’s just magic’s at a level of greatness of its own.
