Best of luck to Perkins

As Laker fans, we know what it's like to have an injured center.  It is something we would not wish even on our worst enemies.  But that is exactly what happened.  Here is to wishing luck to Kendrick Perkins in his recovery from his strained MCL and PCL.

Star-divide

I for one am disappointed that the Celtics will not be at full strength for Game 7.  Injuries are an ugly part of the game but one we have to live with.  Despite how much we have hated his as a player, you have to give him his respect as one of the best defensive centers in the game.  Despite being the 'other' next to the big 4, his absence played a huge role in the Lakers game 6 win and I believe it will play a huge in a game 7 Lakers win.

Watching his press conference today was tough.  When you here a guy with the injuries listed above, on crutches, say "right now im in better shape physically than mentally" you have to feel for the guy.  While the stress has almost killed me, I hope next year we get a game 7 between these two teams.  Perk deserves that, because without him the series wouldnt have lasted more than 5 games.

Well....Perk....you huge pain in the @$$....it won't be the same without you....get well soon man you deserve it.

Best of luck to Perkins

He’s actually one of the few celtics that I dislike the least (only because he wears green).

I think he should heal fine. His game doesn’t rely too much on atheleticism so the injury probably won’t permanantly damage his game too much.

Yes, get well soon Perkins

Nice Post, no one deserves to be down a man so it’s unfortunate, best of luck Celtics

There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be committed against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the Limelight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.

Thank you Lakers fans...

For the most respectable Celtics post I’ve seen in this blog. Without Perk, tonight is going to be a very tough game. Big ups to all the players that made it this far. It shows that no matter how talented you are a basketball player, its the heart and the team that makes it to the end (see Wade and James). Looking forward to an epic show down this evening. Go Celtics!

I dont think its fair to really question D-wade’s heart, lets be honest: The heat this year were terrible. When ur best low post player is a half wheelchair bound jermaine oneal, u are in trouble

as for lebron….well…. point conceded ; )

In Kobe we trust!

I'm not questioning the heart of D Wade...

I also mentioned team and that it was a combination of both that was needed to get this far. D Wade wanted it bad, but he didn’t have a great supporting cast. Lebron thought he deserved it. The Celtics and Lakers are left and they are the ones who deserve to be where they are today. Through good times and bad, it sure it more interesting seeing these two teams play each other than any other match up in the league. Even though we hate each other’s teams, tonight will be an incredible game.
