Figured I would try something different today. Even though pretty much every single basketball related thread get’s derailed at some point or another, I thought it might not be a bad idea to have a thread specifically dedicated to everything EXCEPT basketball. Post in here about other sports, movies, video games…whatever you want (aside from politics and religion). Maybe someone can promote this to the front page to make it easier to find.
I’ll start…fellow video games fans, does anyone have a VIP code for Bad Company 2 that I could use so I can play different maps online? First off, I didn’t like the trailer at. What’s up with the crossbow? We playing Turok now or what? Treyarch, though, is no where near the quality of Infinity Ward. Activision at this point is just milking the “CoD” name just like it has with Guitar Hero.

With Infinity Ward now basically defunct, (if you haven’t heard, almost all of their Senior position employees have left, and the co-founders of IW are suing Activision for unpaid royalties over MW2) Treyarch and the stripped-down IW are gonna be pumping out “CoD” games that will be no good.

With that being said, I pre-ordered Medal of Honor last week, partly because I want to continue the “Modern” shooter setting and now revert back to the Vietnam War like Black Ops. I also pre-ordered it to support EA Games, which will be the new home of the ousted IW co-founders. They created a new studio there called Respawn Entertainment.

What can I say, I’m a loyal fan. :)
