Sasha Vujacic will be back for the WCF, possibly crack rotation
Pretty self-explanatory, really. Unlikely he cracks the rotation for any more than garbage-time, but there always is the ever-so-slight possibility he heats up from three, and thus earns a spot as 9th man. Nonetheless, he certainly sounds motivated, and Phil says there's a possibility he gets PT, so I guess there's nothing to do but wait and see.

If it is the Celtics in the Finals I hope Sasha remembers what happened in 08
shoots like a mad man and shoots like 80% from beyond the arc.

actually...i think it's the opposite for sasha
he needs to erase 08 completely and just pretend he’s at practice
cuz he hasn’t been the same since that series (though maybe he will steal his mojo back from ray allen?)
His shooting is dangerous.

depth is needed, this is great to see
hopefully he can contribute some, I’m not expecting alot but having bodies count, same thing for Lopez on Suns, having his body there will be a plus but he wont contribute alot
There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be committed against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the Limelight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.
yep, especially if one of the guards/wings are in foul trouble
we won’t have to see meaningful minutes from ammo…
the world is in trouble if sasha comes back

Great men are never without flaws, but neither are they without magnificent traits that caused them to rise to such heights.
I have a great use for Machine.
Have him give J-Rich or Amare, the Nancy Kerrigan treatment. If he gets suspended the Lakers haven’t lost anything.
Return of the Prince
Sasha will pester and nag
And might go Dragic
"This is not a game for boys. This is a game for men." - Phil Jackson
He is long overdue.
Plus he has to start building some momentum. Next year is a contract year for him.
who knows,
maybe he’ll out-Dragic Mr. Dragic
I can't tell if Phil Jackson is playing 3D chess and is 10 moves ahead of us or if he's just goddamn senile...
At this point
the best thing Sasha’s activation will do for the Lakers is light a metaphorical fire under Farmar’s ass.
Definitely not a bad thing.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
Disagree with you on minutes Saurav.
If Phil feels Sasha is healthy enough to play, it will be greater than garbage time minutes. We’ll need him in the Finals. They have to get him ready if he’s good to go. Farmar’s minutes should decrease.

True,
but I just don’t think it’s likely that Phil makes any significant change to his rotation this late into the season, such as taking Farmar out completely. Therefore, I don’t see where Sasha could get too many minutes from.

i don't think farmar will be taken out.
shannon was better for the PG in the utah series b/c deron was such a beast and would bully farmar in the post. but neither nash nor dragic have that type of strength so i would say farmar gets more PG minutes (first guard off the bench like in the regular season).
I agree Farmar and Sasha are better matchups in this series than Brown
just replying to Wondah’s comment about Farmar’s minutes decreasing.
And, as far Sasha, I may have been wrong about him getting limited minutes. As Darius from Forum Blue and Gold said:
earlier this season Phil deployed Sasha on Dragic for nearly every minute that Goran played. Remember, both Sasha and Dragic are from Slovenia and there is a familiarity that Phil would like to try and tap into.
Maybe we’ll see that again; and that would probably mean Farmar sits, as Brown is a better matchup for Barbosa than Farmar is.

if sasha plays well...he could give kobe & artest extended rest
along with ball handling skills, sasha actually has pretty good speed for his size. we can actually have him play the SF if we want to play small.
he'd get abused on post-ups by Hill...
he’s a smaller guy, even with his height

It seems Brian Shaw has finally forgiven Sasha.
