WTF is all this "back against the wall" talk?

This is exactly what I’m talking about as far as the media trying to shove hype down our throats. The series is tied 2-2 and if it wasn’t Kobe going ape-shit in the 4th qtr of game 3 when the Lakers had an 18pt lead this series would be 3-1. The thunder have played 1 game and a quarter of dominating basketball and we are to believe that the Lakers are losing this. Give me a break.

The fact that the Lakers have played to such a high level even through the injuries is a testament to their skill, abilities, and resiliency. - 99bc99

Yes, it's nice being hated on like this.

We’re playing a very good team. We haven’t lost 3 in a row in the playoffs since 1974 (I made that up).

You get the idea though.

For me its the consistent inconsistency that concerns me - PAGFL

i just read that Kobe's figer is officially healed

here’s the quote , the link i one of the latimes link

and the fracture in his right index finger has officially healed, though Bryant remains bothered by arthritis in a joint in the finger that will probably still warrant a protective device.

due to him playing through it.

and that arthritis is gonna be a bitch. Its the equivalent of it still being messed up because its not gonna move as fluidly as before anyway. So its still messed up and won’t improve until he stops playing with it.

it would make a great storyline if..

game 7, finals against the cavs, lakers down by 15 at the half. kobe comes out without the cast, downs 6 three pointers, a la MJ, for the win.

Itd be better if he hits the game winning fadeaway three after a crossover on LeBron … They’d dub it “the shot 2” and cleveland will still have no championships

id prefer a bynum dunk on shaq with just a couple seconds left on the clock, to take the lead.

i dont like lebrons antics, but id rather see shaq embarrased than Lebron.

Wait. What?

I’m confused as to why you’d rather see Shaq embarrassed than Lebron.

Ive had a grudge against him since he left the Lakers.

He thinks he is the greatest of all time, but hasnt won anything without a scoring wing at his side (Kobe, Wade & possibly Lebron). He thinks he won all those rings by himself, but that is far from the truth. He wouldnt even be that good, if he wasnt so big. I could probably name 10 centers who are better than him, while he thinks he is the greatest center of all time. Sorry, I just dont like him that much anymore…….
