Artest is a bulldog on defense
I think once the playoffs come around we are going to feel so much better about him being on the team.
No more raining on Bruins Nation's rainy parade, they took their ball and went home.
Most Likely

I am of course
He’s been all that, but will be even more beneficial in the playoffs when defense is the key as the game slows down.

Sweet. I love Modern Family
Looking forward to Kobe’s appearance on it.

LOL @ Woj's column on LeBron
Didn’t know journalists these days still have the balls to print the truth…
Here’s to the richest athlete in history!
I can't tell if Phil Jackson is playing 3D chess and is 10 moves ahead of us or if he's just goddamn senile...
That's why I highly respect him.
He doesn’t beat around the bush, and still has great sources.

Read the LA times Article about the Lakers
not making any additions. He doesn’t rule it out. it seems like a possibility. Mitch is becoming a master at answering media questions.

Yah LeBrat lets retire #23, yes you speak so everyone should follow.
This guy is the most arrogant player I have come across in 45 years of watching the NBA, King James more like the Bridesmaid.
LA Sports is what keep me off the streets and out of trouble, thanks to all the teams Rams, Dodgers, Lakers, USC sports and the Love of Tennis.

I dont get his logic at all......
He wants to retire #23, but wants to switch to #6. Didn’t some really good player on the celtics wear #6? oh yeah, Bill Russell. What a slap in the face to Bill. Hey Lebron, why dont you just walk up to Bill, tell him he sucks and kick him in the balls?
Just a ridiculous story to tell, when all u r trying to do is sell more jerseys. His antics are getting old, and i hate how everything he does is news. NEWS UPDATE: Lebron just wiped his ass with his left hand instead of his right hand!! LMAO.
Maybe #6 is in honor of how many in-game dance moves he has.

NICE. I like the ambiwipest.
Gotta add that to my vocab.

Well, Lebron could switch his number to #45
and maybe at some point down the line play some baseball, then play with #23 again to truly honor MJ.
The Airman of Westwood
Just in case some have forgotten.
All these comments about how LeBron is just making this switch for the money can apply to Kobe as well.
Kobe didn’t try to make it some holier than thou cause, so if the spin is what angers you, fine. But anybody who’s up in arms about the business practice need look no further than our own team’s superstar in providing LeBron the inspiration for a switch.
I haven't read what Lebron's reasoning was
but I do know that claims that it was a type of a new begining for him. I believe he said that it was more because he considered that point the second phase of his career.

Kobe didnt make up any story.
He changed it to sell his jersey and start a second phase of his career. Lebron has said he is doing it cuz nobody should wear number 23, because it was MJ’s number.
Recently he has said that he wants to wear #6 in honor of Julius Erving and because his daughter was born on the 6th and his son was born in july or something like that. (Im not even sure if he has a son and daughter, just what i heard).
I just feel that if #23 shoudl be retired, so shoudl #6, and a couple other numbers as well.

42 is the only number that deserves that special distinction
baseball had it right for a good reason IMO.
The Airman of Westwood
my post above meant that I understood that those were the reasons behind kobe's decision to change his number..

Right.
Not only does a reason for making more money make all the sense in the world, but LeBron does’;t even get more money for more jersey sales. It’s split evenly between all NBA players.
It’s all about respect. He wants the #1 spot.

has anyone read the post about Lebron's change on the Cavs blog?
funny arguments that defy logic
wow those hacks are total Kobe haters
