"The Weak Show"

There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.

- Jackson disagreed with Kobe Bryant’s assessment that the team’s win over Toronto was “garbage.” The coach liked that the turnovers were limited, and called it a good win since the team was able to overcome the early deficit.

I watched Kobe’s interview. He didn’t call the win garbage but the effort displayed by his teammates. He was doing a comparison to their effort in orlando. Did I miss something or is this just bad reporting?

Is that you Dacos?

Kobe toughening up Gasol's psyche without actually saying anything.

That takes skill. Hopefully, Gasol will be producing come May and June.

When Gasol starts consistently taking it hard to the hole

instead of trying to flip it in, then we’ll listen to what he has to say. Flippin’ ain’t winnin’—get your 7’ ass to dunkin’!

Woj’s article is excellent.

The Bleacher Report story on Pau asks a very prudent question, but was so terribly written it makes me sick.

Whoops.

Sorry. I didn’t read that link before I clipped it. I din’t know the Bleacher Report lets anyone post an article. That’s usually the reason I stay away from YardBarker.

Adrian Wojnarowski

Oh do I have to pay more attention to his columns, he did a brilliant job on the article and I agree with him, though I really, really, really want Kobe to curse Gasol’s ass out. I’m serious, if I saw Gasol, I’d would try to slap him (just remember I’m only 5’2 so don’t pay my comment too much attention but I would try, LOL) Gasol just better show up when things are on the line and teams are going to make Kobe give the ball up, Gasol will be needed to come through consistently. We need you Gasol.

Woj is probably the best NBA journalist out there today

How idiots like Peter Vescey of the New York Times can be in the Hall of Fame and Woj not be is beyond me.

That was a very nice article by the Woj

Kobe probably doesnt want to mess up the chemistry of the team by responding to Gasol’s comments about wanting the ball more. Cant blame him from that after all the Shaq drama. Once again, if Gasol was more aggressive at the rim and in the paint, then he would deserve more touches.

His soft play sometimes reminds me of one of the plays in playoff series vs the Jazz in 08. It was the 4th quarter and Kobe throws a baseball pass all the way down to Luke on the other end of the floor and rather than dunking (which Luke is perfectly capable of doing) he tries to lay it up on the glass and gets it rejected by Ronnie Price.

yeah that soft stuff doesn't work, if he would of went hard and dunked the ball, he atleast would of

shot some free throws so the Lakers need this message, go hard or go home

I just read the Yahoo story...

…it was fantastic and very well written. It’s something I think we’ve all seen in Kobe but haven’t quite put into words. Well done Woj! Bravo!
