so...what gives?

Hey, Trailblazer fan here, looking forward to watching tonight's game from the 100 level! And I had a quick question: where is your game preview? The only one I can find on the page is a link to our own on BE...if you guys are trying to forget that tonight's game is happening, then no worries, you'll know in 5 hours that it's on. Just a little disappointed that you would choose to highlight K*be's 1,000 game rather than the opponents that you're facing. It may not be what you're going for, but it comes off a little aloof, smug, and shall I say.... L*ker-ish? I may not like any of you, and may in fact hate a few, but RESPECT! It goes pretty far in these tough times. Lookin' forward to a big game tonight. And I don't care what Jason Quick says, B-Roy is a game time decision.

PS: Thank you 'meFTW', I encourage L*ker fans to come to BE, sometimes we all need to see how a good blog is run, just ask timbo

they do that because it's their way of dissing the Lakers

almost like saying something so bad that they can’t actually say the whole word…it’s weak. It has a DenverStiffs-feel to it..

RESPECT!

is fully spelling another team’s name, and fully browsing the page before concluding that there was no preview. Respect begets respect, not by some juvenile post like this.

By the way, how many points did your team score last night? LOL!

The funny thing is this is at least the fifth Blazer fan I've seen ask this question..

So tempted to just delete his post and leave it at that.

Leave it

I want him to come back, if he dares, so that I can give him a dose of bitch-slapping smack-talk.

This post would be deleted

If it weren’t for the fact that everything involved (including the Lakers winning the game) made the author look so sadly misinformed. Seems to me that leaving the post up brings more shame to the author than bringing it down.

very correct, sir

I prowled BE after the game just to find him but even there he is conspicuously absent. Must be hiding in his mother’s basement

I think I know what Timbo would say about that. And I doubt it’s what you think.

Billy Mac: "Lamar, can you see yourself actually getting in the (boxing) ring"?
Lamar Odom: "No. My face is too pretty."

LMAO!

This dumbass probably doesn’t even know Timbo was temporarily banned there, and that’s for complaining about the moderating! LOL! This guy really doesn’t know what he is talking about!

In light of the team's final trip up north for the season. I thought we go down memory lane to look back at a classic game against the Warriors in Oakland. The day was April 20, 1999, yes the day of Columbine Massacre. Also, has anyone noticed that we have had a lot of classic games against the Warriors even though we have always assembled better teams than they did.?

Heres a new mix I made.

Kobe hasnt always been known as a clutch player. In game 5 of the 1997 Eastern Conference Semifinals, he missed a shot to win the game in the 4th quarter and 2 three-pointers to tie the game in the last minute of overtime, all of the shots being airballs. With that the Utah Jazz ended the playoffs for the Lakers in the 2nd round. Shaquille O'Neal commented years later that "Kobe was the only guy who had the guts at the time to take shots like that."

Ever since that horrible experience in his rookie year, Kobe has worked harder and has learned how to make those shots with the game on the line. This vid features some lines from Carmelo Anthony's Become Legendary commercial as well as some of Kobe's recent gamewinners.

Enjoy!
Kobe Game Winner vs Raptors - Whoa, I watched this and then I read the comments on Youtube claiming Kobe travelled, which I had not heard of. Then, after watching a few times, I have to say, I agree, Kobe changes his pivot foot before putting the ball down on the floor. I also think there's no way a ref catches that in real time, and even if they do, they can't be sure enough to call it then, either.
