The wait is over! The Lakers are finally back in action tonight to satisfy your basketball jones (if I might coin a phrase). Why NBA teams don't play 162 regular-season games a year is beyond me.

Somehow I don’t think the Finals home court matters. The format is somewhat funky. The Lakers are good enough to win on the road if they don’t get the best record.

Well, kind of
A lot of those teams won not because they had home court, but because they’re the better team. Last year, for instance, the Lakers technically had “home court advantage” but it never came into play: three of the five games were in Orlando. The Lakers won because they were the much better team.

I was the first to call Pau a wuss in the cleveland game. But that’s it. When he played great, it was okay with me. When he played bad, it was fine. You can’t expect him to play great all the time. He’s no Kobe. But to continuously bash him because he called out Kobe (and even that is arguable), I find that really annoying!!!

Tonight, some of Pau’s faults almost lost us the game. If Kobe didn’t hit that 3 pointer, the faults would be more magnified..
