Kobe getting his chinesse on lol
very different but the kicks are okay, I wouldn’t buy them though
There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.
They are all fool and haters
Kobe is the best player in the league whether those haters like it or not.
Kobe = 4 NBA titles, aka 4 cookies, HAHAHA
Lebron = 0, none, nada and is the King of nothing. I just can’t stand that nickname.

While we all know the perception has been long held that championships somehow validate a player as truly great, I think we all know that using that as a comparison is essentially BS.
Do you honestly think James would somehow have not won the same amount of championships Kobe did with the same level of talent around him? I don’t think anyone here would disagree with that. Kobe is a one in a million player, as is Lebron. This ties directly in with why I thought the ‘can Kobe win a ring without Shaq’ argument was unfair as well. Of course he can…and did. Just media looking for that superstar controversy as usual.
Essentially the way I look at it is that both of them are so far beyond the norm any real comparison is BS….Just as it was BS that Dan Marino or Jim Kelly were somehow labeled with an ‘asterisk’ because their TEAM couldn’t win the big one.
Do I think it’s likely James wins as many championships by the end of his career as Kobe…well, of course the odds are against him, and it’s far more likely he won’t. That doesn’t make him any less of the player he is, can be, and will be. If Lebron makes it to the finals on several occasions (with arguably the same talent around him), and doesn’t play at the same level Kobe did…then yeah, I can see where that might make a difference in how his legacy will be remembered.. If he played great and tanked in every finals then…yeah…I can see why the argument can be made…and deservedly so.
Rings are a team effort, and the players around them make more of a difference than even they do. We know they will be great…just like Jordan…it’s the role players who rise up and ultimately win the rings…

Not taking anything away from Lebron.
You never know where he will end up when he has played as long as Kobe has, however Kobe is the best player in the league.
Rings are a team effort and that is a no brainer. Lebron did get his team to the best record in the NBA last year, but seemed to to everything himself in the postseason against Orlando. Every game in that series where he scored like 30+ they lost. That is exactly what Kobe did when he started…..tried to do everything. The Cavs are a talented team so we’ll see where they end up.

True, although against Orlando Lebron kinda had to do everything last year. I really think that was forced on him by our bigs and Mo’s lack of production. We all saw that and knew it was shades of years past…Whenever Lebron has to take the ball and start at the top of the key every possession The Cavs are in serious trouble.
That Orlando series was imo a pretty dominating performance by Orlando, something I both feared and expected last year. This years team is dramatically different, as is Orlando…so it will be very telling how he responds with some of the pieces in place. That aside…we don’t really know how the playoffs will shake out. Anything’s possible this year.

Again, at this point they are both so far beyond anything else in the league I stopped even attempting the comparison. It just leaves me scratching my head…and going in circles.

A one-on-one matchup between the two could create ultimately create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum and destroy the entire universe…
Granted, that’s a worst case scenario. The destruction might, in fact, be localized, limited merely to our own galaxy…

or it could be the key missing piece to the "flux capacitor"

the kobe vs james debate reminds me of an old kurt russell movie entitled Soldier…old fighter vs genetically engineered fighter….in the end, the old fighter wins.
i have a theory that james came out of a science lab. i think he is a clone.
Pretty cool Kobe Nike shoe ad somehow morphs intoooooo…drumroll plz…yep, you got it….Kobe Vs Lebron!

Woohoo, I get to look forward to another 7-6 season ("at best") in 2010! There's nothing like going to Idaho for a bowl game.
Is it April yet?
I’m ready for playoff basketball
