Celtics Acquire Nate Robinson

Nate Robinson has reportedly been traded to the Boston Celtics, according to a report from Alan Hahn of Newsday.

The Lakers had also been in talks with New York in regards to Robinson.

Details of the trade are forthcoming.

Star-divide

The only reason why this is important to note is because according to other reports, it was the Lakers who were also trying to land Robinson.  It seems that the Lakers options and attempts to improve at the PG position are dissapearing.  I am still hopeful for a Hinrich trade.

So now Rondo and Nate get to fight over minutes?

Lakers 2009 Road to Redemption: TREVOR, DEREK, LAMAR, PAU & KOBE.
Play the game of which Lakers reminds you of: TA - TI, Shannon Brown - Chris Brown, Pau Gasol - Jesus, Machine - Luis Scola/Russell Brand, PJ with mustache and beard - Colonel Sanders.

my vote goes to Rondo

Thats a horrible trade IMO

Nate is not going to fit in with their offensive, and the rest of the celtics will have to learn how to play with a pointguard that is completely different than rondo…..

maybe nate and shannon can have a re-dunk contest tomorrow

Yay for teams trading for defensive sieves!

To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.

yeah

i thought he was a great bench player for them who could drain the 3
not sure why they made this trade…

This trade doesn't worry me at all

Nate and House serve the same role: they provide instant offense off the bench. It’s a lateral move and a marginal upgrade at best. The Celtics have much more important problems to worry about in their Big Three.

this trade does not worry me in the least….. sure Nate robinson can be very dangerous when he is on fire….. but I dont see him being able to control the celtics offense the way he was able to just do whatever he wanted in d’antoni’s helter skelter offense

In Kobe we trust!

yawn*

I can't tell if Phil Jackson is playing 3D chess and is 10 moves ahead of us or if he's just goddamn senile...
