Trade Idea

As we all know, the Lakers are now 4-0 without Kobe Bryant, all coming against elite teams in the NBA. Here's a trade idea that takes Kobe off your hands and sets you up for the next few years at the SG position.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yf5fuy2

Lakers get: Monta Ellis, Vladamir Radmonovic, and Ronny Turiaf.

Warriors get: Kobe Bryant

I think the Lakers do this trade because, as stated above, they are 4-0 without Kobe, proving they don't need him to win. Also, Kobe is only on contract for one more year;  you would be getting Monta for an additional 4 years. Finally, you also get back VladRad and Ronny, both former Lakers who can be perfect backups for Bynum and Gasol.

The Warriors do this because Monta wants out, and Kobe definitely puts us over the top to crack the top tier of the West.

Thoughts?

You know what? I've changed my mind

I’m holding out for Coby Karl. Also a former Laker!

Who could resist the opportunity to pair Ammo with Vlad?

That guarantees at least 17 straight championships.

no thanks

4-0 is a very tiny sample size…without a true leader and offensive presence in Kobe the lakers arent repeating yet alone getting out of the west…

the starting 5 isnt changing any time soon
though there is alot more flexibility with the bench in terms of trades except with odom…

Whoa, put down the pipe and step away from your dealer

Besides, the contracts wouldn’t match anyways.

I can't tell if Phil Jackson is playing 3D chess and is 10 moves ahead of us or if he's just goddamn senile...

Doesn't Kobe's no-trade clause nix most of the random bogus ideas related to trading him?

How could Kobe possibly say no to an opportunity to play under Don Nelson?

I agree

this is the bigger question. Not rly Golden State as much as its Don Nelson he wouldn’t want.

Haha

I do hope this is a joke. Though, watching Kobe play in Nellie’s offense would be.. intriguing.

Why not include the Staples Center for the Oakland Arena while you're at it

Maybe Phil will want to trade his record amount of championship rings for Don Nelson’s potential wins record and a set of Rick Berry’s hair plugs.

No way we take this trade

I might think about it if either Randolph or Curry was included. Plus Kobe has a No-Trade clause in his contract and i can gurantee he wont want to go to Oakland
