Sources over at LA AM 570 radio have reported other trade scenarios the Lakers have put some effort into. However, take this second part with a grain of salt.
The Lakers have shown interest in Detroit Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince as well as a Milwaukee combo package of Luke Ridnour/Kurt Thomas.
The Pistons proposal would give the Lakers with a valuable defensive contributor off the bench while the latter package would provide the Lakers with veteran support as well as cap relief.
In both scenarios, Lakers would offer shooter Sasha Vujacic and the expiring contract of Adam Morrison. However, future first round draft picks would need to be included for the Pistons or Bucks to take respective offers seriously.

Not sure how much credibility this rumor has but it certainly is an interesting idea. Though like the article says the chances of this trade happening are remote compared to the talks for Captain Kirk. This would be a pretty drastic change to our bench. Kurt Thomas is a solid midrange shooter who can give us minutes off the bench and as we all know Tayshaun Prince is an excellent defender who could possibly split duties with Ron Artest in defending an opposing team's best player. Besides Kirk Hinrich, Luke Ridnour is one of the best point guards available right now. I would assume Farmar would have to go in this scenario along with Ammo and Sasha but I am not sure if that would still be enough to make the trade happen. Luke (Walton) chose the absolute worst time to get injured again. Dang it Luke!
