With the Lakers winning again without Kobe and Andrew Bynum, there's growing discussion as to why everything is running so smoothly. Kobe's absence, Pau and Lamar's re-awakening, increased intensity, or the Bench Mob stepping up. You name it. Now, it's Andrew's turn to take his lumps. Read and discuss....

I tend to read into things too much but if the following isn't an
indication that the Lakers are looking to make changes then I don’t know what is:
But again, I don’t anticipate any of our core players being involved in anything prior to the trade deadline.
Translation: We are looking to make changes but it won’t effect any of the Starters or the sixth man..

I felt the same thing...
Mitch is probably shopping Ammo and his valuable expiring contract around. Might as well get a solid bench player while Ammo is wasting away on our bench.
Not that simple
Probably could do that, but Buss is knee deep in contracts so I think he’s willing to let Ammo fall off the books at the end of the season if the team isn’t in need of anything.
Though god damn please trade Luke Walton
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
I think when the bench was struggling recently
Luke was a sight for sore eyes. He brought back some structure.. But I wouldn’t be totally hurt if he got traded..

The bench is full of expiring contracts. Farmar, Ammo, Powell, Mbenga, and Brown (ETO).
From all the rumors, the Lakers are trying their damnest to trade Luke Walton’s contract, but no dice. I don’t blame potential suitors either. They also shopping Vujacic’s contract, but no one wants to take on that contract.
There is a possibility of a Morrison, Vujacic, and Farmar for Kirk Hinrich and James Johnson trade, a scenario bandied about by Eric Pincus and others. I don’t see it happening, but it does give the Bulls something that they want: more cap space.
There are pieces available to acquire but the Lakers would have to take on a large contract. Something that Jerry Buss probably doesn’t want to do. I think the Lakers will wait until players are bought of their contracts. There might be some interesting names on that’ll hit the streets
thank god for laker basketball!
everything else is just annoying and frustrating but the lakers always put forth a good effort
YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD YES!
