Time travel report

Sometimes, I get in my DeLorean and travel back in time to relieve certain Lakers moment. After the recent display of fail from our beloved Lakers, I needed a reminder that this loss was in the most part meaningless. So, I planned to travel to our last 3-game losing streak and relieve the reactions from Lakerland. That would surely make feel better, right? Unfortunately, my time machine, requiring a focused mind to operate, malfunctioned. Something else was bugging me...

Wasn't a Ludacris look-a-like the first to predict what would unfold on "The Decision"? So there I was, June 28th 2010, where one Stephen A Smith was making news by claiming that L.. bla bla. Soon, I realized that I was very entertained by the reactions to this utterly ridiculous claim. So i thought I would share some of my findings and hopefully you will forget that Fish is "guarding" another point guard tomorrow.

These responses were before the start of free agency.

This commenter sums up how I feel pretty well.

I think I get it, there's a shortage of Xanax in the world and everyone is going crazy...

MUHAHAHAHA. Apparently, I have also traveled to a parallel universe where some people cares.

It makes no sense for lebron to go to miami, because it will kill the league, lebron cares about the nba, he wont do that.

At least i know we are not in hell.

no way in hell is lebron AND bosh going to the heat. No way in hell is that happening.

I hope this guy invested in a savings account.

NO way that this will happen. LeBron isn't a #2 guy and he isn't going to a team to be a #2 guy. This is one team that he will not go to. Put my money on that

Coach Spo is that you?

First off....Riley would sign all THREE in a split second...to assume or doubt otherwise is flat out stupid. Now, LBJ being second fiddle is stupid...if that were the case, he would not play for Team USA either....so give me a break about the ego comments. Wade and LBJ would be sick to watch...they could run endless pick and rolls and man to man clear outs all game long...toss in Bosh and you have 3 amazing scorers. Miami would be impossible to defend...the "filler" players would be role guys accepting a bunch of 1-2mil contracts....guys like Chalmers, etc.. This is quite possible and I would not doubt Smith has the sources inside who are saying it either.

I bet this bandwagonner is still laughing.

Two words for L.A. - SUK IT! bwuaaahahahahahaha

Sir, I doubt your allegiance!

WOW. IM A DIE HARD LAKERS FAN… BUT IF THESE 3 SIGN TOGETHER I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THATS A WRAP. JUST GIVE THEM THE TITTLE THE NEXT 5 YEARS

Too many centers? Poor child.

If the heat do get the three amigos then keep beasley if you can but get rid of mario chambers, Joel Anthony and Jamalla Maglorie. Heat have too many centers and need to cut down on players...

Your probabilistic model has failed sir.

Not a chance. I wouldnt be surprised if Bosh goes to miami, which would make them a serious contender again with wade and that young nucleous around them. But no way Lebron and Wade end up on the same team. Niether of them are ready to not be a ultra superstar. Thats what it would take to win. Right now that is hands down Wades team, and rightfully so. Would he let that go cause with Lebron (NBAs favorite child) coming to town it would immediatley become his team to the nation. Wade who? That will never ever happen

If you only knew what "The Decision" was!

I really feel for the Cleveland fans. They might as well turn off the lights there and call it a day.

This one raises an interesting question. Would people still hate the Heat without "The Decision" and "the stage"

Here is my thought. If Lebron leaves Cleveland it will be good for the NBA. Every team will hate whichever team he plays on, there will be renewed rivalries, and LBJ will be the most hated player by fans outside of the city he plays in. Should he stay in Cleveland, LBJ will be loved by Cavs fans "of course" and respected for the rest of his career as a loyal NBA superstar and every fan would hope he wins one day

Oh really!!

If LBJ and Bosh decide to play for Miami he will still be loved all accross the world. He wants to win now and this is his best opportunity......LBJ/BOSH.......Welcome to Miami

Aww poor Chicago fan at least you aren't a Cavs fan.

That won't happen in Miami, but don't be shocked to see it happen in Chicago...FYI.

I know something, but I can't say right now.

That's it I can't tell who's serious anymore

Bosh to Timberwolves. Woves will also take Beasley, and with Saint Rubio we will be NBA champs. Suck it up Miami and LA. We are the new Big Dogs on the block. Woof woof Woof

A couple days later, I accidentally overheard my younger naive self.:

this is just to build suspense. Big three my ass. Lebron doesn’t want to play with Wade + Bosh. There’s only one ball and 48 mins. His stats won’t be able to support his shirts.

I sure have grown since then! To my past self's defense, how was i suppose to know he'd go all medieval on his shirts?
