Laker Fan asks Sacramento fans over at Sactown Royalty if "Kings fans still hate the Lakers?"
Of course King fans react as only Kings fans can, by wishing violence and ill will on the entire Laker organization and it's fans, from "Kobe the Bfing rapist" to it's "bandwagon fans" and adding "F#ck Jack Nicholson, Dyan Cannon, and that silver haired douchebag wearing the snakeskin boots."
It's a great read if anyone has some extra time they would like to spend viewing the frustrated venting and raves and rantings of a bitter fanbase that longs for the days that their team was considered a rival to Lakers. Not for the faint of heart as colorful language and graphic descriptions are littered throughout.
From superstars and legends to roleplayers and scrubs, the hate abounds.
Highlights include
"We were robbed of a championship
Thus, there is no forgiving the Lakers and they will always be Fakers. Fakers to a crown that the King earned and deserved.'
"Kobe the Bfing rapist makes me puke with his smug attitude'
"We hate the Lakers. We hate Kobe. We hate Phil. We hate your annoying bandwagon fans. We hate the look, sound and feel of your arena. We hate that you get star calls from the refs that cost us games. We hate that Pau Gasol was gifted to you"
"Lebron is still better than Kobe."
"Kobe is just an arrogant fuck and screwing/raping a young girl in a hotel room while your wife is at home makes him pretty much, to use your term- a douche. Rick Fox? Doug Christie and his wife squared us up there. Horry? Unforgivable for a power forward to be so far out of position that he is waiting at the three point line to beat you."
"you can’t even fathom how much we hate the Lakers. The Lakers have always been good. We haven’t. As a team we had been pretty terrible for the 1st thirteen or so years in Sacramento, and then we finally started to get good
And thats when our heart was broken. First the shot by Robert Horry, then the absolute ridiculousness of Game 6 where the Lakers were gift wrapped the game, and then the heartbreaking loss in overtime in Game 7. The constant badmouthing of Sacramento by players and personnel of the Lakers organization didn’t help."
Even a Laker fan joins in with the bashing.
"I absolutely hate Sasha Vujacic. Hate him. HATE HIM. Even when he was knocking down three’s (and he hasn’t in a long time) I thought he was a complete douche bag. Hate him." -Pharoah
"I hate Laker fans more than the team."
i know Laker fans enjoy the fact that their team is hated and the juxtaposition that no Laker fan really cares about the Kings and the supposed rivalry that they think still exists. Knowing that they have such a great disdain for the Lakers is what makes an otherwise meaningless game a nice little victory for Laker fans. Think of it as the cherry on top to the satisfaction of winning a game.
Here is the sentiment from one very zealous Laker fan during and after the Lakers/Kings game
"I want Kings fans to feel like they have a chance… and then get their hearts ripped out.
This game means so much to them and is almost meaning less to us. I want them to continue to hate us while we feel indifferent to them. That’s what’s so great about being a Laker fan"
when things were looking dicey in the fourth-
"Don't worry in Kobe we trust
God likes to torment Kings fans. He puts it within arms reach and then quickly takes it away and laughs out loud when he does it."
After the game had concluded-
"I love that we ripped their hearts out yet again.
I love it even more that it was a close game and they lost it in such a gut-wrenching fashion. It’s way better then having a blowout.
I love that this is the game of the year for them and that their still bitter about 2002. I love that they hate us but i really don’t care about them
I love that they’ll come up with a bunch of excuses and attacks to try to make themselves feel better about this loss but in the end they’ll still cry themselves to sleep in their pillow.
I love the hate and the name calling. It makes a meaningless win like this entertaining for us."
So enjoy it Laker fans, take pride in the fact that your team can rip the hearts of those who hate you so much. It's that hate that makes wins like these special, not the fact that they're hurting, but the fact that they were felled by a team that they hate so much. Remember it's only the great ones that inspire this much hate, be grateful that the Lakers aren't the Grizzlies or Bucks or the Kings who can only wish that they were paid this much attention.
