Glad to her Kobe say he is feeling healthy...

I also like the fact that he has taken around 15 shots per game, the last couple of games. And not chucking up 30. He seems to be trying alot harder to get bynum, pau and the rest of the gang going, as evidenced by his high number of assists, which are more difficult to come by in the triangle then any other offense.

The box score form last night were a dream to look at. Pau, Bynum & LO all had triple doubles and I believe Kobe was 1 rebound away from one & also a coupel assists away from a triple double. This type of team, IMO, is MUCH harder to beat than the one that relies on Kobe in the second half. I’m not sure if it’s the bigs finally showing up, or Kobe and the team looking for the bigs more. (but its a pleasure to see)

The best part of yesterday's game as far as Bynum

is that he was aggressive. I have not seen him play like that in a long time. That is defenitely the best he’s played in any single game this season. I like to see his stat lines but more impressive his effort.

when i watched him early in the year,

it seems that he was a little tentative on both offense & defense. I wonder if his knee problems were in his head (even though both injuries were freak accidents not caused by anything he did).

he did look very good last night. its been a while since ive seen him dunk on a post move.

I think it's that and that there are too many options before him.

but his injuires have defeintely effected him. But it might be a question of maturity as well. He is in his early 20s and when I was in my early 20’s I was not a mature person one bit. As long as he puts that effort he should be ok. But that post move – dunk was pretty nice to see. it’s scary how good he could become.

i think if he were on another team, he’d average close to 20 pts and probably grab 10 boards

kobe should prolong his career by doing less out there. let gasol and bynum and artest eat in the first half. then he can feast in the 2nd half.

i wonder if basketball would be better if they called offside like they do in soccer. there wouldn’t be any cherry picking, but i wonder how else it would change, or if that would be at all possible.

is ESPN Los Angeles, simply a name for the espn studios in L.A., or was that designed to cover only the lakers or all of L.A. sports? do other cities have the same? ESPN Indiana? Orlando? Memphis?

Is Kobe's passing bothering anyone else?

He seems to be going for the home run play every time he gets in the paint? Some of his passes are so impossible to catch or ridiculous that he’s making Gasol and Bynum look like they have bad hands. Half our turnovers over the course of the game seem to be caused or started by Kobe in what seems like unnecessary manners.

I guess at this point in the season though now is as good a time as any to “practice” a bit like we said in the last post.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

They seem to be adjusting to a new offensive scheme

That focuses a lot more on Kobe operating off the P&R with either Gasol or Bynum, and a lot of that requires pinpoint passing. It will look more fluid eventually.

test 2

I didn’t see the game, but after watching highlights I agree with Darius from Forum Blue & Gold:

With 12.7 seconds left and Phil deciding against a time out, Fisher dribbled the ball up court, ran a P&R with Odom, forced Denver to switch, but then couldn’t get the ball into Odom in the post on Billups. Instead, with only a second remaining, Fisher fired up a desperation three that got blocked by ‘Melo. Ball game.

In my opinion,
