Ok, it’s known that i hate Kobe, and Lebron played a great game…. but people gas him up wayyyyy to much. i mean, I was watching the top 5 plays of the night on NBA.com, and lebron was in it, not for an amazing dunk or block, but because he attempted save an inbounds pass. And yes, he didnt even end up saving it!!!

I'm starting to detest LBJ almost as much as I once despised MJ.
But as much as I hated Jordan, being that I was (and still am) a Laker fan, at least MJ was a true force, both offensively and with his D. MJ made the simple things look easy, because for him they were. He could shoot a FT, he had an outside game, and more importantly, he did it against better talent. Lebron has basically been given, by the forces at ESPN and other sports media outlets, the title of the NBA’s best, without so much as a ring to his credit. Lebron is a great talent no doubt, but is he better than Kobe? No. Is he better than Kurt Rambis or Michael Cooper? Maybe, but he certainly doesn’t have their hardware.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
Kobe
Look, No one will ever top Michael Jordan he’s just the greatest period, the way he changed the game, open new doors for other players like Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade. Its also almost ignorance when people compare a 215 pound SG to a 250 pound SF. Lebron cant be compared to Kobe Bryant in a sense that they play two different positions! People please try to understand this! Their both unique in there own ways!

Me too
Never liked Lyndon Baines Johnson. Oh, LBJ means Lebron James. OK, never liked LBJ because of all the hype and because he was almost universally loved and accepted while Kobe was reviled by people who felt threatened by his skill and comparisons to Jordan. There was no one who could be compared to Jordan before Kobe. James came after Kobe, after people saw that there could be another as great as their god, so they cut him some slack. Since people had their person to hate, along comes the new kid and he’s given a free ride because someone had already bore the brunt of people’s aggression toward a successor to Jordan. Kobe in a sense allowed James and his talent to blossom without the distractions of fan and media hate getting in the way. He owes Kobe a lot. If James had come first, Kobe would be the media darling that James is. btw, hated Jordan, too. Wanted to see him fail but Rodman and his great teams really bailed him out at times.
Magic made me a Laker fan.
as Machiavelli once said
an ideal prince is both loved and feared — but if he can only be one, it is better to be feared than loved.
