Kobe Nike Live Event Pics

George Lopez hosted a Nike Live event with Kobe Bryant (also livecast on Facebook) at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Hollywood this Saturday.

A friend won a Twitter contest to get a guaranteed seat, but he could not make the event, so I am fortunate he chose to call me!

Great pictures, I especially like the reflection of Kobe’s face in the window. Was that from a billboard or something?

That was the reflection from the painted wall mural of Kobe in the pictures.

Only freebie we got was the foam “LA” puppet fingers – and some drinks and candy.

It was a totally corporate event designed to promote the shoes, but it was still fun!

Got to go to the 710 ESPN interview with Kobe and Spike after the Knicks game this year. Kobe seems like he’s always in a good mood during crap like that. You would imagine that he would get sick of being personable but it doesn’t appear that way.

You have a chance to buy any PEs or where there just a bunch of IDs? Not really feeling the 5s like I was the 4s….love the 4s.
