Breaking News
The Sacramento Kings are still bitter about 2002 and more recently upset by two clutch games that the lakers won because of the entity known as kb24asuarus.
i always love the links page.

YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD YES!

I read that Marc Spears article and found the McGrady part interesting. The interesting part is that
the Knicks are already willing to give up Jordan Hill in a package for McGrady. I wonder why they ready to give up on the rookie already. Don’t they value cheap contracts? I’m curious to know what it would take to pry away Jordan Hill.
The Lakers don’t need Nate Robinson. Robinson is a known chucker and will have the ball in his hands a bit too much. I don’t like his decision-making. I don’t think the offense will be a problem for the bench since Walton is back. Now, if the Lakers are interested in Chris Duhon, then I would be onboard with the trade.
Bosh Responds to the question of taking less than a max deal from anyone...
“That’s a good question,” Bosh said before his game against the Knicks – one of his potential suitors – when asked if he’d be willing to accept something less than a max deal in order to play with better talent. “I don’t know (laughs). I don’t know about (LeBron James and Dwyane Wade). I really don’t know. Like I said, it’s a business, so that would be tough to do. You’d really have to make a big commitment to do that.”

Heh, key statement
You’d really have to make a big commitment to do that
Like have a chance to win championships for the next half-decade? But seriously, he deserves a max deal. It’s like saying Kobe should take a paycut.
To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.
I could not disagree more.
In no way what-so-ever should Kobe take a pay cut. He makes the Lakers a ton of money, and they aren’t a team strapped for cash. They are small market, and struggling to make a profit, and/or lure free agents. Kobe should every penny he’s eligible because he’s earned that right. He is a big reason the Lakers can charge what they do for tickets and concessions. He’s worth the price of admission, and he’s the most popular player in the World.
The only reason Kobe should take a “pay cut” is if he want s to “look good” in the eyes of some fans. It’s not about the Lakers needing him to take a pay cut to sign other players, it’s about the Lakers making less of a profit if they feel like it. they can afford the payroll they have in large part due to Kobe Bryant.
Defenitely agree
It’s rare to see a player make such a committment. Shaq did it with Miami and Malone and GP did it to come to the Lakers but for a player to do it as he is approaching his prime that would be really hard to believe that he would do it. That’s like expecting Shaq to have taken a pay cut when he first came to the Lakers. Although there is no comparison between Shaq and Bosh but the fact that Shaq was as young as Bosh is now is hard to believe he will do it at 25 (no 100% sure about his age)

Shaq didn't take a pay cut.
He was traded partly because he wanted every single penny of an extension.
He took a paycut in Miami

"Just by the aura of D.J. Mbenga being there, the shot missed."
$78 seems pretty good.
I live in Providence and the cheapest prices I can get for the Lakers vs. celtics game are $140 each.
maybe you have a point
perhaps i will look for a different matchup
that might have cheaper tickets
"Just by the aura of D.J. Mbenga being there, the shot missed."
Another place to try is
fansnap.com
But I usually buy from stubhub, because some sellers don’t know the value as much as others, so you might find a steal sometimes.
Adande on the possibility of a Bosh trade
Jason (Bozeman/Montana)
Chances Bynum for Bosh trade really happens?
J.A. Adande (3:01 PM)
I was told “zero” by a Toronto source a week ago, but I think as we get closer to the trade deadline the chances of any big deal increase. So maybe increasing to 30%. The Raptors still don’t want to trade Bosh and are hoping things will work out. If they don’t get those signs, I haven’t heard a scenario that’s much better than Bynum.

Sadly, I really enjoy watching "Payback" whenever it's on TNT's late night lineup
Lakers 2009 Road to Redemption: TREVOR, DEREK, LAMAR, PAU & KOBE.
Play the game of which Lakers reminds you of: TA - TI, Shannon Brown - Chris Brown, Pau Gasol - Jesus, Machine - Luis Scola/Russell Brand, PJ with mustache and beard - Colonel Sanders.
