Ahahaha
I enjoyed all of those so much then your poll caught me by surprise. No way I can pick just one to be my favorite. Watching these in succession further disproves the notion that Kobe has “lost his legs”
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
Gotta rec this
Great work.
I’m so glad for youtube, because there used to be a guy at the office who would claim that “Kobe never dunked on centers”.

Dude it's gotta be Ben Wallace. He actually didn't just dunk
on Ben Wallace he also dunked on another guy behind Wallace. He dunked on two guys at the same time!
He's dunking on legends, past and present...
Not only is he serving up face on the likes of Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan, and the2008 Utah Jazz, he’s also dunking on some of the best players in the history of the game. Hakeem… Ewing, are you kidding me? Kobe is just amazing.
I picked the Wallace dunk. Wasn’t that his first professional bucket?
the one on dwight has got to win hands down, kobes balls are all over dwights face haha.
In Kobe we trust!
hands down balls in face, lol
wow, now thats a poster

I chose the Steve Nash dunk
Because Kobe should have been MVP that year.
It also exhibits the type of defense I abhor, which is trying to take a charge on a guy about to dunk. Why not go up and try to block it, instead of trying to beat the guy to the spot by a millisecond?
It also perfectly demonstrates a common misunderstanding of the offensive charge rule: the defensive player must be set before the offensive player begins his upward motion, NOT before the offensive player has left the ground. So the moment after the offensive player gathers himself to jump, the defensive player must be set in order to get the charge.

well that clears that up
i didnt know it was as he gathers up

Blocks/Charge: A block/charge foul occurs when a defender tries to get in front of his man to stop him from going in that direction. If he does not get into a legal defensive position and contact occurs, it is a blocking foul. If he gets to a legal position and the offensive player runs into him it is an offensive foul. In both situations, if the contact is minimal, no foul may be called. To get into a legal position defending against the dribbler, the defender just needs to get in front of him. On a drive to the basket, the defender must get to his position before the shooter starts his upward shooting motion. For most other cases, the defender must get into position and allow enough distance for the offensive player to stop and/or change direction.

I also remember that...
…Doug Collins complained that Kobe should have gotten called for an offensive foul there. (At least I think it was him.) How is it that these guys don’t know the rules properly?
It's cuz that dunk was so nasty
And looked painful for Steve Nash lol. The announcer felt so bad for Steve Nash cuz Kobe posterized him so badly that it was almost like Kobe committed the foul even though it was Nash xD
But yeah, it’s pretty sad that a lot of the announcers don’t know the rules properly.
Like the Kobe “foul-that-didn’t-happen” against Nelson in Game 4, when Kobe knocked him down and the Refs didn’t call a foul. The announcers were calling for blood. But I remember others later saying that Kobe was in a follow through motion and in that space, Kobe had the right to move his elbow through to pass to Fish even if he knocked Nelson down in the process.
Lakers 2009 Road to Redemption: TREVOR, DEREK, LAMAR, PAU & KOBE.
Play the game of which Lakers reminds you of: TA - TI, Shannon Brown - Chris Brown, Pau Gasol - Jesus, Machine - Luis Scola/Russell Brand, PJ with mustache and beard - Colonel Sanders.

I wouldn't mention it elsewhere...
…but it seems fine here. Whether or not you think it’s a foul (and of the three ABC announcers, only Mark Jackson seemed to be sure it should’ve been a foul), there are (at least) two clear reasons it wasn’t called. One is the reason you mentioned: Kobe’s got a right to swing around to make a pass. He’s not allowed to swing his elbows to clear space—that is against the rules. But that elbow movement was quite defensibly in order to get into position to make the pass.
Two, Nelson’s head was moving in toward Kobe the entire time, from the time that Kobe began his motion to the moment of impact. It’s not like he had it in position and Kobe knocked it off. If that had been Nelson’s hand instead of his head, we’d either be talking about a clear non-call or a reach-in foul on Nelson.
On instant replay, Kobe does appear to pause after contact, as though concerned he might get called, but after a split second, he makes the pass to Fisher. The rest is history, of course.
I think I’ve watched the last quarter and OT about fifty times. It’s sort of pathetic. :-o
i miss #8 kobe

Man o man
The Kobe over Dwight alone takes the cake. Add in his balls on his face and bam! you now got the icing
LA Title Defense now commencing
Brings back memories
I voted for Kobe posterizes Hakeem Olajuwon because everything seem to slow down, Hakeem didn’t even know Kobe was coming and then BAM Kobe dunks on him. But the dunks on Steve Nash and Dwight Howard are the best. Kobe had a reverse dunk on Latrell Spreewell when he was with the Knicks, I vividly remember that one because Latrell was all over Kobe the whole game they were going at it and then Kobe crosses him and JAM right in his face.
There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.
Walk. Turn-over Kobe.
Traveling. Sorry Kobe — on the “posterizing of Dirk” — you moved both feet, took a step.. then dribbled. Even my a 3rd grader knows that is a walk.
my goodness...
That isn’t even close to a walk. That’s not even a walk in the NCAA. That’s a straight-up jump stop, which is entirely legal. See, for instance, the latest installment of Ask Bernie (Fryar) on nba.com.
But that’s still not the best posterization. My vote is for the huevos rancheros dish on Dwight Howard.
amen on the walk
Replayed the video too upon the guy’s comment. Went to the conclusion that this guy’s doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about.
Where's the Chris Childs video?
Anyone see C.C.?
Yeah where are the videos of Chris Childs dunking on everybody?
Where is the video of Chris Childs scoring 55 points against MJ’s team?
Where is the video of Chris Childs scoring 81 points?
Where is the video of Chris Childs winning Finals MVP?
Where is the video of Chris Childs hitting buzzer beaters?
