The Machine is OUT of ORDER

Found a funny article from the Ball Don't Lie Boys at Yahoo! Sports, about yours truly, Sasha, the Machine, Vujacic.

Sasha Vujacic is temporarily out of order

It's been too long since we've had something on Sasha Vujacic(notes) here at BDL, in part because it's been too long since the mad geniuses at Lakers-Fan.com have created a hilarious video starring the half-human, half-machine, all-hair gunner. Perhaps this (unfortunate) news will get the creative juices flowing.

According to The Machine's official website, via Jeff Eisenberg at PE.com, the Lakers reserve guard suffered a minor left knee injury while training with the Slovenian National Team. Vujacic sat out a pair of exhibition games against Macedonia earlier in the week in preparation for the Euro Championships later this summer.

"It's nothing serious," says Chanteuse Marie Allado back on Vujacic's site. "But the management didn't want to risk aggravating it."

Call it just a hunch, but I highly doubt the Lakers organization (or fans) will demand that Vujacic get on a direct flight home to L.A. like the concerned Spurs did with Tony Parker(notes), who they brought back to San Antonio for tests after he tweaked an ankle last week.

Machines can be fixed.

who cares?!

He’s garbage. He had a GREAT 2008 season. (Contract season maybe?) He fell off this past season. He didn’t score in the finals until the last game, I believe. He used to finish games, now he’s barely in them.

And he gets way to over-animated. It’s almost fake. Can’t stand the guy. Lakers are better off without him. Let Breezy get the minutes at the two guard.

Well it's wasn't his wrist or hand that got messed up

which means he can still get in the gym and practice his shot. He needs to. Especially if it is the Celtics that the Lakers end up facing in the Finals. Let’s see if all that trash talking he has been doing can be translated into the court.

I dont want to be the next Michael Jordan, I only want to be Kobe Bryant.

Seems like Sasha will be fine

And special note from Sasha’s representatives in USA: To All Sasha Fans: Thank you for your concerns! We are happy to report that Sasha is back practicing with the team. Earlier this week he just decided to rest his knee, but is back in action now!
