Ron Artest in Purple and Gold
Great, just great. Now I can't hate on the Fakers...er..Champs. They went and did what they should have four years ago. Now they lose Ariza at the same time, but wait! There is a way to make this even better! Trade Andrew Bynum to Houston for Ariza and Aaron Brooks.
Now wait. I know what a lot of you jokers are thinking, "No way!", or "That's crazy!". Think about it for a minute. You get a point guard to replace Derek Fisher and his againg self, and when you think about it Brooks, and Jordan Farmar as the future point guards is not a bad prospect. You rid yopurself of the overpriced, always injured Bynum whom you've given $90 million dollars for a guy who has yet to play a full season, and you get Ariza back. Plus you save about $40 million against the cap. So your team now looks like this: Kobe Bryant, Lamaar Odom, Ron Artest, Pau Gasol, and Aaron Brooks (Jordon Farmar, Trevor Ariza, Derek Fisher, Josh Powell, Shannon Brown and Mbenga). That sould get you another two rings in three years.
Kahn has spoken.......Rise!

Ludicrous is directed towards trading our AB for the Rocket’s AB and Ariza. I think the Artest signing, although it has potential pitfalls, will turn out just fine. If we sign LO to at least a 3 year deal, we will have one of the most talented rosters in the league for the next 3 years and should always be contending for a title.
RON ARTEST IS A TOUGH PLAYER
The Lakers are an extremely soft team defensively. Ron Artest will give the Lakers the edge that I have been looking for and that they need. Ron artest to kobe is like Dennis Rodman to Michael Jordan. Ron Artest is willing to bang with any player on the court and dive after any loose ball. His toughness and desire to win will hopefully infect the rest of the Lakers players. Ron Artest will make the Lakers a tougher team, and hopefully a feared team. I believe that Ron Artest will sacrifice the amount of shots he normally takes to win a championship. The Lakers will instill in him a sense of teamwork that he has failed to learn on other teams such as the Rockets or Pacers.
