NEW YORK -- Two league sources confirm that Milwaukee and San Antonio have agreed to the framework of a deal that would send Richard Jefferson to San Antonio for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto. A source said the two sides are working toward setting up a trade call with the NBA for late Tuesday.

The Bucks are sending Jefferson away less than a year after acquiring the scoring forward in a draft day trade last season for Yi Jianlian and Bobby Simmons. Jefferson's contract has two years and $29.2 million remaining on it.

Bowen, Thomas and Oberto give the Bucks a veteran group and financial flexibility. None are signed beyond the upcoming season.

I wonder what the Bucks will do with Yi Jianlian.

Umm yeah. Haha.

Intuitive, they already traded him. That’s how they got Richard Jefferson.

What about their height..

Considering how good (defensively) Gasol did against D. Howard in the Finals I am no longer worried about this team. Especially if all they did was improve on the perimeter. If we can get full season with a healthy Bynum the Lakers can beat the Spurs. That being said, this organization is too smart to give up height without pulling some other type of move to improve their size. Either way, this move improves them but it doesn’t make them better than the Lake-Show.

We need Bynum to improve too, but I think he can as long as he stays healthy. He’ll be working out with Dwight this summer and he is going to skip the Team USA camp in order to strengthen his knee. I just hope he can stay healthy next season!

Heres a new mix I made.

Kobe hasnt always been known as a clutch player. In game 5 of the 1997 Eastern Conference Semifinals, he missed a shot to win the game in the 4th quarter and 2 three-pointers to tie the game in the last minute of overtime, all of the shots being airballs. With that the Utah Jazz ended the playoffs for the Lakers in the 2nd round. Shaquille O'Neal commented years later that "Kobe was the only guy who had the guts at the time to take shots like that."

Ever since that horrible experience in his rookie year, Kobe has worked harder and has learned how to make those shots with the game on the line. This vid features some lines from Carmelo Anthony's Become Legendary commercial as well as some of Kobe's recent gamewinners.

Enjoy!
Kobe Game Winner vs Raptors - Whoa, I watched this and then I read the comments on Youtube claiming Kobe travelled, which I had not heard of. Then, after watching a few times, I have to say, I agree, Kobe changes his pivot foot before putting the ball down on the floor. I also think there's no way a ref catches that in real time, and even if they do, they can't be sure enough to call it then, either.
