The Lakers.com feed isn’t working for me right now. But here is a live stream of the ABC7 news feed which is covering the parade and festivities at the Coli.

Who says Laker fans don't care?

Tickets are just too damn expensive

I hate to nitpick

but they should have fans on the field in front of the court.

I really love the way the fans turned out in numbers

to support the team.

I was watching the entire thing from 5:42 am this morning on KTLA and I just couldn’t believe how many people were on the Martin Luther King jr so early.

I’ve waited a long time to say this THE L.A. LAKERS ARE NBA CHAMPIONS.

I would also like to say suck on that to all my friends/colleagues from my college days (2000-2004) who didn’t have a team but were just opposed to anything named Laker.

We’re back yes we’re back!! I will never forget how you all gloated after the 2004 finals and Shaq was traded, I will not forget last year either so guess what, I’m coming to look for all you suckers and yes I will be wearing purple and gold.
Champions baby!! Champions at last!!!!

i didnt take as many photos as i would have liked, because i loaned my camera to my nephew. i had to take these using and old dig. camera that i borrowed this morning. i have some cool videos of kobe as well but they take too long to upload.

by chaucer on Jun 17, 2009 2:37 PM PDT reply actions

lol you loaned the camera from your nephew

for this occassion I’m sure he didn’t mind, if I was anywhere near the parade I know I would of took someone camera.

guys, bibby, kidd, iverson, gordon are some of the free agent guards available. any chance that any of those guys join the lakers?

by chaucer on Jun 17, 2009 3:01 PM PDT reply actions

Unless Kidd wants to take a major pay cut

then no thank you. Simply don’t want any of the other three. And Kidd makes more than Kobe.

by Josh Tucker on Jun 17, 2009 4:30 PM PDT up reply actions

Why?

To any of them. Gordon is a bad shot ball hog. Same with Iverson, only both are defensive liabilities. At least we know where we stand with Fish. He might have trouble with some guys, but so does everyone else. He still does a decent job defensively with others.

Kidd I can see, but like Josh said. Too much. Too old.

We need a youngish, solid vet if anything. Not older and more expensive.

by wondahbap on Jun 17, 2009 9:24 PM PDT up reply actions

i agree. just bringing it up. i didn’t realize they were free agents. someone else mentioned hinrich. i like our team as it is. i like s. brown. hopefully he and farmar can improve some more and be our pg’s of the future.

Hey Chaucer thanks for the pics

I can’t believe you LOANED YOUR CAMERA to your nephew ON A DAY LIKE THIS!!!

I’m sorry I love my family but this would have been too much lol.

I’m glad the Lakers won the title, I finally got the chance to rub something in the eyes of my Laker hating friends.

The sad thing is the season is over and I wont be able to keep Josh on his toes by demanding the threads a.s.a.p.
