Tell your trolls to stay under your own bridges

THIS IS THE BS YOUR TROLLS KEEP PUTTING UP ON OUR SITE. THIS IS WHY NOONE LIKES THE LAKERS AND ALL THE ANNOYING BANDWAGON FANS, IF I WERE A TRUE LA FAN, I WOULD START TELLING ALL THESE DOUCHEBAGS SOMETHING. WHY CAN'T LAKER FANS WIN WITH CLASS?this was posted not too long ago on our site.

The series is over.  Now all of you Rocket fans can go back and enjoy the hot humid summers in that non-attractive city you call home.  Hey, maybe you can even take a 40-minute drive south and enjoy that oil lake called the Gulf. Lets face it.....Rocket fans enjoy bashing LA fans because of one simple reason....jealously.  But I understand your pain.  I, too, would hate to live in what is basically the armpit of the world and have to sit in front of the TV and see the beautiful images of So. Cal and know that the Lakers on a constant basis challenge for the NBA title.  We don't have to claim championships, the only two you have, that happened over 15 years ago.  Like I said then and will say now, Rocket fans will not see another title in their lifetime.  Isn't that the only two major titles the city can claim?  Wait, I forgot, you guys take great pride in the Comets' titles too. It must be really sad to live in a city that the pro and college teams are sub-par year in and year out.  Anyway, I'm sure you've heard this before, good luck next year...!!!!

Ironic that it's a Houston troll to make a post that Laker fans should not be trolls, is it not?

I advise Mr. MutomboFan to heed his own advice:

From now on
Just flag these super douchebags. Don’t even respond to them. they just want us to come down to their level. it sux losing to a douchebag, but atleast we don’t have to act like them

Of course, he posted that on the Dream Shake (about a self-described Blazer fan from California, not a Laker fan) immediately after starting this pointless thread, so maybe he has “Found Jesus” this afternoon. In which case, this thread wasn’t totally useless after all…

Oops, looks like I mistook MutomboFan for ThrashKill.

Apologies.

What's the difference. They're both trolls.

The Lakers are now 6-1 against the Rockets this season.

Your mods have to deal with it

They have to ban posters like this and delete fanposts like this. You shouldn’t be taking up complaints with another team blog. How can they control it?

I flagged it

It will be dealt with as long as flags keep going up.

Don’t spread the drama bro. Just flag it and dave will get to it.

You know...

You could have simply just rec’ed my post just above this one instead of going all bananas.

But whatever. As you know, I post here civily. As a blog owner/writer I would expect more from you. Just tag the offending post and be done with it.

Is that too hard to do? Jesus.

by jasonmicron on May 9, 2009 11:51 PM PDT up reply actions

To add on to this

The post that LakersOC posted on TDS should be deleted and so should this one.

Just delete the posts.

And let’s go for Game 4 – no Yao but I’ll keep my hopes up, however the Foul-wagon (aka Chuck Hayes) doesn’t keep my hopes up.

At any rate, I will be sitting with a Lakers fan here in Houston that I have been ribbing all season long – this should be a good game. ;)

What is the point of this post?

Do you know how many Laker fans there are? What makes you assume they are from this blog. And even if they frequent this blog, do you see any of the people officially contributors to this blog leaving those comments?

No. So take your junk back to the bridge you came from.

You are one of the Rockets fans coming here obnoxiously puffing out your chest after the one win you’ll get from us this season.

The Lakers are now 6-1 against the Rockets this season.

by wondahbap on May 9, 2009 2:45 PM PDT reply actions

Seriously

Aside from the fact that the guy posting that comment calls himself (herself?) a Lakers fan, what’s it got to do with me?

In the same way

I don’t consider Rockets trolls to be “DreamShake’s trolls” or even associate them with other SBNation fans who consider themselves to be Rockets fans.

In fact, I would be more likely to group all trolls together (Lakers trolls, Rockets trolls, Blazers trolls) than I would be to group them with their respective fan bases.

Basically, this post is lame and is addressed to the wrong people.

Let's not be coy here

One of you created that LakersOC account – but it’s whatever. We can draw parallels between Houston and LA all day – I’ve lived in both cities. LA has the heat but not the humidity, Houston has the humidity but not the fires, blah blah blah whatever.

Whomever created that LakersOC account – it was in poor taste man. Let’s keep this clean and fun.

by jasonmicron on May 10, 2009 12:08 AM PDT reply actions

Nobody gives a shit about the cities.............we care about the teams. Silver is from Kansas or some other square state. :-)

Your bitching/defending here is kinda trollish in it’s own right.

“As a blog owner/writer I would expect more from you. Just tag the offending post and be done with it.
Is that too hard to do? Jesus.”

You write that and then go on to whine and whine and whine. Take your own advice and just let it go. And lastly:

“One of you created that LakersOC account – but it’s whatever.”

WTF is up with that. So someone here (who would otherwise be a nice guy) decides to create a new alias and then sneak over to TDS and be an asshole? Seriously that’s weak. I am sure it couldn’t be one of the other anonymous 500K+ Laker fans out there. You’re cool Jason, but you’re getting warmer.

Lakers fans have proven to be class acts...

I am very impressed with the sportsmanship and goodwill that most of the Lakers fans have shown towards the Rockets, as well as the other top NBA teams, in their discussions on Silver Screen and Roll and on The Dream Shake. However, the CITY BLASTS are weak and irrelevant..

I’ve lived in both cities (grew up in LA and lived in Htown 12 years) and have found one universal truth (at least for me!) about the overall quality of a city: A city is only perceived as good as the hotness of the women and their openess towards sex… That being said, LA women are ungodly hot but horribly frigid an unapproachable… Htown women are a half-notch down in hotness, but 5x in friendliness and sex accessible… Thus, my 12 years here.

I met Deke at the River Oaks Krogers on West Gray last week...

In between all the soccer moms and little old ladies coming up to him, giving him hugs and telling him what a wonderful humanitarian he was, I asked him if it was true about him actually saying “Do you want to sex Mutumbo?” to DC coeds while at Georgetown.

Deke’s response “Aaahhh hahahaha! Do not believe everything you hear on sports radio!!” However, his intonation and gi-normous smile pretty much confirmed it…. Even on a crutch the man’s got game.

That is awesome!

Well, I think his leadership has an impact on the Rockets, even from the bench.

Maybe he enjoys Houston a bit then, based on your evalutation!

by staylost on May 11, 2009 1:02 AM PDT up reply actions

How fantastic would it be....

If Deke was given a job on Adelman’s staff and stayed on as big-men coach?!.. Seems like a perfect fit.

Sex accessibility!

They must do a survey on the most sex accessible towns in the U.S. now, so you can back it up!

Come to Htown Gils!

and you’ll see it for yourself.. Unfortunately LA’s access comes with too much baggage.. and a pricetag.
